I understand what you're saying, but I think the only solution is to avoid living in areas like that. Did the guy who got slashed with the sword deserve it? Absolutely. Was the Chinese guy acting in self-defense? Absolutely. Does the law consider his actions to be an act of self-defense? Not really. He went back home to grab a sword.The thugs were literally still in front of their property, look at the video you linked. It's a fact that the governments of most major cities in the United States are quite friendly to criminals. That is certainly the case here in Philadelphia, which is why I'm certainly going to move as far away from the city as possible as soon as I graduate. Random guys have tried to grope my girlfriend in broad daylight and I've been called all sorts of slurs by the same type of people. There's nothing we can do about it. Chinese people should just try to avoid big cities in the US.
