Sounds like “vaporeware” to me. The east corridor is only useful for exports from Saudi and Israel due to the limited capacity of rail networks compared to massive cargo ships. Then the so called “northern corridor” is just a rebranded Suez Canal route for the last 200 years.

This is why i don't worry about india being super power any time soon. They will probably get fractured by the west in a couple of decade because of the caste, religion, culture infighting.

Wow. I'm watching Biden's news conference in Hanoi. Can anyone say deterioration? He had a stack of calling cards so he can remember which journalists were to be asked questions which wasn't the odd part. What was weird was he left the podium, and his cards, to walk around the stage answering those questions so he could look like was at a TED talk which took the cameraman off guard because for a few seconds Biden was off camera view when he started doing that. But then he had to gingerly get back to podium to search his cards for the name of the next journalist to name to ask their question. Those questions were staged because all his answers were so he say US moves were not to contain China or are about China. No questions about the US failed sanctions on China on semiconductors.
A significant portion of their population also live in the latitude that will be very "miserable" due to global warming especially without air conditioning and also suffer water scarcity. That along with wide wealth gap may cause a lot of local unrest.

As long as the BJP or similar Hindu nationalist platform is in power, India will never be able to reconcile and unify it's internal minorities, let alone external neighbours.
Also, if the conflict with China starts turning visibly unwinnable, India might do a backstab on the US and try to swing back to majority BRICS alignment, and try to slowly strengthen and change BRICS from within.
