You know, that's a question I asked the people who claims that Chinese phones and apps are See-See-Pee spyware. Why are they worried about the MSS getting their information when they don't have any jurisdiction in the US/Canada? This canal will benefit the Cambodian people only. Once it is completed, they will not have to sail into Vietnamese territory, shortening the time. China is just a contractor.
