If he was black they'd say he was a "DEI" hire.
DEI is a ploy to steal positions from non-whites, allowing the oligarchs' children continued quota access through "legacy" admits, while non-whites have to fight over a limited number of positions.

You will not find affermative action working against the subgroups of whites that the government likes. (US regime sees working class whites as no different subhumans than others)

Barely veiled fascism.

I mean, fiat currency isn't any better. By all means keep an amount for rainy days. But if society collapses and all your assets are in cash, you're still boned. Stack ammunition and gold or other commodities.
Society won't collapse. Even after the fall of the Soviet Union, people just kept on going. Although cash today is fiat currency, there will always be people willing to use it out of habit. The only way for your scenario to become true is if no one is willing to rebuild society after some time (i.e. generation) post-collapse.

Many banks (and other critical computer infrastructure) have been running on IBM AIX machines for decades now without issue. Imagine if IBM pushed a faulty AIX update (like CrowdStrike did) and crashed the American banking sector. Then you'd be saying we should never have money in banks and should keep all cash on hand.
The reason why CrowdStrike did push out a faulty update and IBM hasn't, has a lot to do with the fact that Windows isn't a very robust OS (because it must support too many different pieces of hardware) and AIX is a robust OS (because IBM supports their own hardware alone).
So, if we just avoid using OS' that should never be used for mission critical purposes (like Windows) and instead use software that is much more robust (like a purpose-built Linux kernel or a UNIX variant like AIX, made for specific hardware), the chances of CrowdStrike happening will be drastically lower.
If the yuan goes digital, I guarantee that the back-end systems (software and hardware) will all be custom-built, with at least as much scrutiny on each patch as IBM puts on AIX. There will be no repeats of the stupid "we didn't test our product before release" CrowdStrike outage.

It doesn't matter what OS is used if a business decides to install software from firms such as Crowdstrike. IIRC, there were Linux machines negatively affected by Crowdstrike a few years ago before the last debacle. The only reason we're talking about the latest fuck-up and not the previous one, is because there were more Windows machines using Crowdstrike than Linux (or whatever *nix).

Apparently, a lot of items are on the agenda when Xi visits Brazil for a state visit in November (and attend the G20), including the possibility of Brazil officially joining BRI. This will also come directly after Xi's visit to Peru to attend the APEC summit and most likely inaugurate the China-built Chancay megaport that promises to greatly facilitate China-South America trade.
Basically, a full scale public humiliation of the US and its Monroe Doctrine is being planned for November.
