As I suspected, Michael Pettis was wrong - China is not the second Japan.

The author took a shot at Japan.

Japan suffered from nothing less than a loss of vitality as a bonsai’ed people dealt with lowered ambition by withdrawing from society (hikikomori), becoming “herbivores” (celibate) and marrying their kawaii anime pillowcases.

Pure routine China Bad theatrics, they don't actually execute anything unless it makes the MIC money. Maybe if they can involve Palantir in this somehow.

1. OK, enjoy the extra fentenyl.

2. The most nationalistic Chinese people are those who have seen how racist and horrible Americans are. Those sheltered within the firewall see nothing other than China; they know of America's existence and they think it's benign. In their lives, it's just what they want to do vs what the Chinese government will allow them to do so they are out of focus in terms of the big picture. I've always supported a directed course in Chinese high schools for exploring Reddit and other Western anti-China forums so show Chinese kids how malignant the West, particularly the US, is. I say this will be far more effective to garnering patriotism than any Chinese history class on the founding of the CCP. When the firewall comes down, Americans will then find 4 posters like me for every pro-American poster on their previous safe zones.

I know this approach works because up to high school graduation, I considered myself a Chinese American and was relatively anti-China. To this day, I don't understand how my father withstood this and didn't beat me black and blue every day. But in college, I started venturing onto forums, reading comment sections that carried a racial honesty that publications could not come forth with. America's far more desperate today and even the published stuff would suffice but back then, it was this inside look into the real undercurrents of the world that made me realize that a Chinese or an Asian is never an American and they will always either hate and fear us for being strong or look down on us for being weak. So the only way forth is to choose the former.

Not only this, but Chinese high schools should open STEM-specific tutoring with partner schools in the US to expose Chinese students to the incompetence and inability of their American peers, to show that there is very little to admire. If the incompetence of the foundation of US society can be exposed to the students, then the flaws of the building atop the foundation will naturally become clear.

I dunno know about that; don't want them picking up any bad habits or dirty culture from these interactions and I certainly would not support sending them to the US and endangering them to the rampant crime. There's plenty of safer, less time-wasting ways to display American incompetence, but at the same time, we don't want them to get too comfortable underestimating the enemy. The importance is to build patriotism, so Chinese students start looking at their own lives from a perspective of what they can do to help in the China vs USA fight; it's not terribly important that they look down on their foes.

Poland is already moving up in Indian students. the rest of Eastern Europe will not be that behind and It does not matter whether Indian directly goes to Poland. Indians will become largest student numbers both in US and Western Europe and they will take most of jobs as this is the young generation in tech. France who had supply from Africa is now turning to India and Finland is next.

And your point is? What is it you are saying? You keep dumping that bottle of weak sauce that we already know. Indian are exporting themselves out of their s--thole country. They will get all the jobs & labor work while the whites will be sitting on their azz watching tvs.

What's with the "tech"? why don't indians "tech"ify their own country? I mean they arent gonna do that with hare krishna dancing competition, are they?

Are you an indian living in gulf countries as worker or something?:rolleyes:
it was there in youtube links.
And there are western people here who wear bengali dress during pohela boishakh, so it means.....what?:rolleyes:
