Trump made a complete turn. Now he wanted to stay in Afghanistan because they could have used it to bomb China nuclear weapons.
Seriously, he flip flops so damn often that it’s hard to take his decisions seriously. Sure he could’ve made decisions in hindsight but he seems to forget that his foreign policy before is a mess and it is bound to be a mess in the future unless someone tries to put a bullet in him again. Seriously it will be damn near impossible to send US troops to Afghanistan again because they needed both Chinas and Russias assistance before and also given the mess they left behind, no one is going to entertain these stupid genocidal bastards again. His knee jerk actions isn’t going to save the USA this time around nor is antagonizing China going to solve anything either. I am sure as of now both China and Russia is getting real tired of their meddling and are just waiting for the right moment to really let them have it, Trump or not because in general, in case anyone doesn’t remember, his actions pissed of Russia and China are same time before and it’s set to do so again since he really seems to think more of the same previously is going to help things when in reality, it doesn’t (his new plans are nothing new anyways)

I asked you because every Chinese person who grew up in China and isn't a 反贼 calls it CPC. The few on this forum that are 'allowed' to use "CCP" are so hardcore red that it doesn't even matter.
中国共产党 -> "China Communist Party" -> "Chinese Communist Party".
It makes enough sense for me. Besides, we're using the English language, and English-speakers all call it "CCP". When in Rome, do as the Romans. Even if it's using a sponge to scrub your ass after a shit.

The assumed bad relationship between Ukraine and China has always been a bit overblown, colored by a bunch of things, the big ones being the closer relationship between Russian and China and what happened with Motor Sich.

China has not done anything to restrict regular commercial activities with Ukraine, which is keeping it running (basically the same way the West accuses China of "helping" Russia). China was in fact the main export destination of Ukrainian grain in 2023.

Zelensky himself has been fairly careful in his wording with respect to China, although others in the government have not been. Obvious there are some factions within the government.
It's really a shame. If Ukraine had sided with China and exterminated Ukrainian neonazis, instead of with the US and bolstering Ukrainian neonazis, it would now be a fairly safe, intact, and prosperous (by Eastern European standards) place.

Data compiled between January to June 2024 versus the same period in 2019 and 2023 shows that flight bookings from the EU to Shanghai increased by 39% from 2019 to 2024 and by 159% from 2023 to 2024. Bookings for hotels increased by 140% from 2019 to 2024 and by 208% from 2023 to 2024.

Looks like inbound tourists to Shanghai have rebounded and exceeded pre-pandemic levels(at least from the EU front)

As more and more tourists sees China for themselves, the harder it is to maintain the bad-China narratives.

Turns out Bongbong Marcos really is a cokehead.

Bong Bong Narcos?

Well actually, Ukraine under Poroshenko (coming to power after Maidan) had excellent relations with China, BRI endorsement, Motor Sich deal signed, etc. so let's not think that China did not deal with the post-Maidan government.

Zelensky's government undid some of these deals and supported the US UN resolution on Xinjiang which showed that the administration were clearly propped up by the US initially (probably to sideline BRI). Then when Ukraine was abandoned by the US in COVID vaccine distribution, it withdrew the support of the US resolution and tried to mend the relations with China.

In the end, Ukraine's relationship with China could not have done much to stop the war, really they just should not have fallen in so deep with the US.

You're not talking to freaking "Romans" here and besides, are you to tell me that if someone willingly and mockingly call you a Chink you're fine and dandy with it because you know "when in Rome, accept what Romans do" lol

Trump is an idiot speaking to his idiot followers. So what if Afghanistan is only an hour away from where China makes nukes. What about the ones that were already made? Are they suppose to stay where they're made so the US can take them out? If they're not there when China launches a nuclear retaliatory counterstrike on the US, will Americans cry China broke the law...?

Fair enough. I can use "CPC" if it makes you feel that much better. I suppose it's a more mechanical translation of 中国共产党 that avoids the possessive modifier of 'Chinese'.
However, you must admit the irony of you saying this with a username in Latin.

I think your English is good enough to know what "When in Rome, do as the Romans" actually means, and you pretend that it is a blanket "let's bend over and present ourselves" just to argue.
It does not suggest accepting insult or shedding one's own identity, but to accept certain pragmatic facts, such as if you say "CPC" to a group of Westerners, they will become confused and think you are talking about the CDC.

Now that it is clear that this part of the forum is not populated by "Romans", despite the Latin names, I suppose we can all get along and use the people-approved "CPC" instead of "CCP".

They all flip flop. They all spin the peace vinyl to win elections. The Americans always fall for it. It is happening all over again. They are already talking about bombing Iran and bombing China and bombing Palestine and sanctioning this and sanctioning that and blockading this and imposing tariffs on that. It is all going to happen again and the Americans will just sit there and watch and do nothing to stop it. Forget US elections and politics. The only way this cycle ends is when the Americans run out of business and money.

China is a lot more powerful than Russia though. Even if the amount of nukes are similar, Russia only has a doubtful ability to consistently make Avangard, while only China's own decision to avoid threatening first strike prevents them from putting tactical nukes on every DF27/17.

But what boosts China the most ultimately is that they have much more conventional muscle to back up the last resort of nukes than what Russia has.
how many countries can demonstrate SLBMs Salvo launch like Russia/Soviet Union? or fire this scale of cruise missiles at greater distance than one else. They are hitting western Ukraine in zigzag formation from Caspian Sea. this is confidence on quality of manufacturing for long distance travel.
