This is why you shouldn't grab latest updates. I am surprised corporate IT don't test them out for a week+ before releasing it out tobthe rest of the company.
From what I heard it wouldn’t have mattered if IT had that policy. Crowdstrike forced the update straight into production and ignored their client’s update staging rules. There needs to be a serious investigation as to what went wrong. This is one of the worst IT outages in history

Just EU dogs of the US and other pathetic dogs like gulf arabs. Who else would use low quality western spying software?

Negative. To have a throne, you need to be uncontested. US which has failed it's bid at global control even as far back as losing the Korean war and even today has not come closer to defeating it's main rivals.

We recognise them as a contender for the throne, but a throne they have not.
Just imagine if Microsoft or Crowdstrike was a Chinese company, the call for DIVERSIFICATION if not uprooting of software etc would be so great. But whenever issues like this arise for any American company such narrative is f..ng absent for obvious reasons even though the reliance on one primary vendor that powers important infrastructures are far too grave and consequential than most people are led to believe. Huawei anyone?

The current CEO of CrowdStrike comes from McAfee, that's all you need to know to see how much of a shitshow that company must be. Then google filled it with spooks

When whole world is in chaos this new is somewhat scary( aleast for me). Hope Asean and China-Vietnam relationship dont go down.
It seems that it'll probably going to be a little testy as we can see from the latest move by Vietnam regarding their claims in the South China sea that overlaps Beijing's Nansha islands.

There's going to be a tussle within the party in Vietnam from the pro America camp vs the neutral China camp. We'll see how the situation unfolds but I am not that yet worried since Russia has Vietnam somewhat on a solid footing and even has some influence within the country both societaly and politically.

Any idea on who will be succeeding him? Hopefully it's someone from the northern (Hanoi) faction and deeply values China-Vietnam relations. Otherwise, there will be more problems for China to deal with in the SCS.

Regardless, it'll be a turbulent time for Vietnam going forward.

As a normal citizen. I have no ideas. Any things bloating on internet is just guess, gossip or straight up fairy tale. Just for sure hope Vietnam dont became Ukraine 2.0 . And no way we go that low as Philippines 2.0
