I think you underestimate to what extent racism influences European decision making. Even if they are not explicitly in your face like the American Ku Klux Klan or explicitly talking about white supremacy, it seems they just cannot take non-white countries seriously and if given any kind of choice they will side with the white choice even if it is self-injurious. It's practically unconscious and I think nothing short of having for example their naval ships blown out of the water in the South China Sea will snap them out of their snobbishness (any maybe not even then).

There won't be a civil war in the US as most people just likes to BS and troll. You need a real organized inssurection at the state level or above for that to happen. What we will likely see is the 60s again... where there were all types of militias/gangs (kkk vs black panther) , protests, riots , looting , drugs, hippies etc. We already seeing this lawless behavior in some major cities.
They should resolve assassination attempts on their own comedic leaders before trying color revolution attempts with comedic leaders elsewhere

It's because they see the second or third order benefits of a rich nation, e.g. high number of ultra rich individuals, high stock valuations, etc. and believe these are what makes a country rich; instead of recognizing what actually made rich nations rich, e.g. excellent industrial policy, effective investment of earnings (R&D vs stock buybacks), and most importantly gaining mastery over the basics before moving on to the next stage in development.
