Everyone is taking that new York post sentence too seriously.
No other outlet has made any comment about the background of the shooter yet, so everyone here is getting a bit worked up over nothing.
The NY post wrote it as such, I saw it too earlier at the time.
The fact that the NY post is a tabloid and writing unconfirmed claims isn't a surprise, what I'm more concerned about is everyone else here immediately reacting to it and not reviewing other more credible outlets as to why they had yet to write about the background of the shooter.

I don't know what to say that's not going to come off self-seving and disgusting. I am honestly relieved that the shooter isn't an Asian descent American or worse, a Chinese stock. But that doesn't mean just because a shooter being found to be white is good either. The situation in the U.S. for all people there isn't going to be good period.
The lie travels twice around the world before the truth has even put its shoes on. Americans would readily believe the shooter was Chinese because it fits with the Trumpian narrative of Biden being in cahoots with the evil communist chinese, until proven otherwise and even then, the die hard MAGA types will insist on a Chinese connection anyhow, goaded along by steve bannon and peter navarro and matt pottinger types.
Doubtful and he's a known Zionist. Most likely took offense at China for advocating for the Palestinians over at the ICJ.
Before your original post of the shooter, there were news of a caucasian male identified as the shooter. In any case, it's always best to wait for the dust to settle.
I read the NEW YORK POST linked story just to be certain and at the time of the reading and my post, the shooter was described as CHINESE.
