I know the time is owned by a Korean cult, but nonetheless, the information and the meat and potatoes of the article discussed at length what transpired at a recent Senate intelligence hearing where a growing chorus of dangerous idiots are pushing for the Chinese government delegitimization a.k.a. regime change. Which nicely dovetail the recent FOREIGN Affairs essay that called for exactly that.

I was not wrong when I said that looks like this China obsession, the national security paranoia and domestic issues, but mostly the China obsession are pushing the US in a downward spiral toward fascism, is so real that is almost incredible.

Americans are complaining that Ozempic cost a thousand dollars a shot. The China Ozempic story sounds little odd so I wouldn't put past a capitalist greedy US company to put that story out to then complain China is hogging up the supply which gives them the excuse to jack up prices. They did that with chocolate and coffee beans saying there was going to a shortage because the Chinese were gobbling it up. Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots and Kraft cheese, right before the Super Bowl the media announced there was going to be a cheese shortage... Never heard afterwards if there was a chocolate, coffee bean or cheese shortage but I bet prices and stock values went up. Besides if Ozempic were big in China, there would be a Chinese version. Ozempic would have to be cleared by the Chinese government before they could sell it. A thousand dollars is highway robbery.

I know it’s cold blooded realpolitik, but Mearsheimer being nervous is good for China. Let the anglos be bogged down in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, let the PLA rise to expel the Anglo occupation of east Asia.

I don’t listen to Biden at all but his voice is so… soft and kinda quiet compared to Trump. It is so different in comparison.
