That's what Qing thought, look how it went. The reality is giving in one demand would result in more demands coming. If US insist on escalate, there is no stopping them. Best you can do is make sure they do not come out on top after escalation. As far as we know, China has the upper hand around the area, the win is just not going to be pretty. If US want to fuck around and fine out they can try!

Just one thought, which I just had right now!

We know what is going on, or at least we see what is going on.

The Philippines is going out of its way to provoke China.

That is really silly. So, I really do not pay much attention to it.

But right now, just had this idea, of why this is going on,

Obviously, the Americans want this.

Why?

Well, seems like the obvious reason is to force the Philippines to be always on the US side, and nothing like a good beating will accomplish that.

Kind of funny.

So, no, I do not think the Chinese will beat up the non-existent Filipino military forces, in order to cement the lame Filipino-American relationship, which really is serf and lord when it comes to Bong and Biden.

China has a lot of stuff, aka assets in the South China Sea, so they can play this cat and mouse game with the Philippines for as long as they like. Then, deepen investments into the Philippines by Chinese state own enterprises. The politics of the Philippines always swing back and forth.

Right now it seems a little unique as the Bong guy seems to be blackmailed into doing stupid shit, like he wants to get beat up in front of the world to please master Biden. There is something really dirty going there.

:p

I mean, look at the size of that boat.

And that other boat, being chased around like that ancient Pac-Man game.

Maybe we should call this Bong-Man game.

Yeah.

Angel Reese has it wrong. Just like with other sports in the US, it doesn't get popular without white people watching because they make the largest demographic and they ain't watching it for Angel Reese. All the little white girls are watching it for Caitlin Clark. It maybe totally racist but it's Caitlin Clark that's making the money for the WNBA. It's like white women that go missing gets more news ratings than a non-white woman that goes missing. It's people wanting to watch Clark which is why games are airing on national TV.

There was a Korean-American journalist on CNN if I recall correctly who encountered some racism over COVID-19 and she on air said that she's not even Chinese meaning if it was aimed at someone Chinese, it was legitimate to her. A while ago there was a bar fight incident in Sacramento California involving one of the soldiers who thwarted a terrorist attack on a French train. He was attacked by Vietnamese for a defending a Vietnamese woman being "abused" in public. When it was found out this soldier was who he is, the Vietnamese community in Sacramento tried to pin it on Chinese. So other Asian ethnicities have no problem blaming something on other Asian ethnicities despite it spurring racism on Asians in general.
The Chinese-hating Asians and the hanjians have always been part of the problem. They are just as effing racist on other Asians as the white racists. The Koreans, Vietnamese, Filipinos, HK and TW supremacist are all open hostile against the Chinese. The Japanese are too, but maybe not to the same extent. It seems like the insecurities of the "smaller" Asian nations have a part in this. They do this not just to protect their asses, they do this also because of their inner hateful agenda towards the Chinese. These are all pathetic chihuahuas. They can't deal with the fact that the power balance of Asia is reverting back to its normal status. These people can't stand that they can no longer stay above the Chinese in perpetuity, as if their very identities depends on that. They still want to tell the white people to look at them as above the hated Chinese, and that they are supposed to be on the same team. But the white supremacists will always see them yellow people.

I'll paraphrase in my own way what Wang Yi had said before. "You can dye your hair blond. You can bleach your skin. You can go to church. You can give yourself fancy English names. You can eat Western food. You might join them in stomping on the Chinese. But you'll never ever become a white person."

Comments are surprisingly sober, you can use translate for those that can't read Chinese

Comments are polarized by TV station. This is Zhongtian, a pro-China anti-secession station which lost their broadcast license during Tsai's term. If you watch the green channels known as 三民自, referring to 三立、民视 and 自由 something, the comments would be downright racist and vile against Chinese and China.

The vast majority who tell us to remember the June 4th protest are supporters of the ongoing genocide in Gaza - that's all you need to know.

I coincidentally stumbled on an old Reddit post today full of vitriol towards Joe Tsai.

For those who don’t know, Joe Tsai is the owner of the Brooklyn Nets (NBA) and New York Liberty (WNBA) teams. He made huge money being an early investor in Alibaba. He was born in Taiwan, has Canadian citizenship and was educated in the US.

During the HK riots he famously went on a pro-China offensive, basically telling an executive on another team who posted “Stand Up for HK” to STFU (paraphrasing of course). Then he did TV interviews basically saying that Americans need to accept the Communist Party isn’t going anywhere and most people in the country think they are doing a bang up job. He himself admires the what has been done.

So of course the Reddit comments are calling him names and whatever, sellout, protecting his wealth etc. which is ironically hilarious because it perfectly illustrates what he was trying to say. Americans simply cannot accept the Communist Party’s legitimacy.

Maybe Americans are just into Tiger Mom math, 95% of the population can be happy, but what about the other 5%??! (Or they are bad at math, in a country of a billion people, even 5% being mad is like more than the entire population of Canada)

I rarely see people in mainland China talk about other Asians. They're just not that important to China. Maybe we should follow their lead and save our energy for more interesting matters
