It seems that all three of America's main sycophants in Asia have dismal domestic support.
Hey Teodoro, we need more SCS patrol to boost my rating....lol, you can see the desperation when Japan, SK and Canada want to join AUKUS. ;)

On a serious note, those US lackeys in the Pacific are nervous that they will left out from economic bloc form by the BRICS. SK and Japan the Asian economic powerhouse are feeling the heat and expose their vulnerability cause the Golden Billion pie is not large enough for their industries and they have to compete among themselves. The hedging among the ASEAN will be over in favor of China when the Chinese had achieved overwhelming military strength against the US in Asia, that's the only one lacking to able to fully embrace Pax Sinica.

It was in recent days from either Shilao or Yankee IIRC, they said recently there was a flair up at the border where Indian Army attempted an EW offensive after feeling confident because they purchased a lot of EW gear. However PLA showed them some colour and made them realize the gap that still exists between the two in EW realm.
That's the ignorance that exists with a bunch of idiots who think that Western/vassal technology is the best. So they get their hands on some and try to start asserting themselves. What they don't understand is that what is available on the international/global market is low tier compared to what is used exclusively by true great powers.

Even Taiwan gets outdated crap. What makes India think it can get the good stuff?

If it's true, taking into account other developments, then it pretty much seals it that a high level strategic decision has been made by Vietnam wrt China
it's actually bigger than that I think. VietJet is nominally private, so this is a 'economic decision' rather than a political decision. It means C919 is actually that good. If it was Vietnam Airlines, then it would be a policy decision.

According to the announcement of engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney, a number of Airbus aircraft equipped with NEO engines of airlines must be recalled to carry out in-depth inspection and repair of the PW 1100 engine. Since January 2024, about half of the 42 A321 NEO aircraft of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet had to stop operating for engine inspection according to the instructions of Pratt & Whitney.

“The above factors have directly been affecting the supply of aircraft on domestic and international routes, causing certain difficulties for passengers,” the MoT said in the document sent to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

What rumour on the border?

In Yankee’s latest talk show he claimed that the exercise on Myanmar border far exceeded his expectations in scale and quality of assets deployed. He did not expect the level of joint was or size. However, he doesn’t think that it was designed to deter foreign forces interfering in Myanmar but rather warn both sides fighting to keep live fire away from the border areas.

When asked whether it was a warning to Indian influence in Kachin, Yankee revealed that if China needed to send a warning it will be directly on the Sino-Indian borders. He also acknowledged that the Jawans purchased a large quantity of EW gear from abroad and tried to interfere with Chinese assets in the area. Needless to say it failed spectacularly and after much humiliation, the IA probably has justification for purchasing newer EW hear if top brass hasn’t covered it up with some cock and bull story like they usually do.

India is more interested in Chinese land than the other way around. The vast majority of us wouldn't be able to live in India for an extended period of time without getting skin cancer (or staying indoors most of the time) anyway...
