Too bad. If she had a Yangwang U8, she would have lived. American protectionism is taking lives:
What was preventing them/her from breaking the window?

Always keep a seatbelt cutter and some ninja rocks in your vehicle.
Pretty sure her death was no accident, most likely to send a message to Mitch Mcconnell, who retired shortly after.

India as a nation has never made much sense to me in the end. So many issues and yet no self reflection and all out determination of top the last folly without holding back. Kinda like Israel only much more of them and more annoying as hell and also JAI HIND (say what you will but this is pretty cool sounding, I mean have to give it too them it does sound way cooler then Any thing those genocidal douchebags have got with their nazi brainwash)
That's probably the biggest and most annoying flaw about them. Just the ability to lack any form of self reflection.

If you have a flaw, as long as you bother to reflect on it, you can take action on it. But to them, it just doesn't exist. Maybe they don't think it exists but there's no reason for everyone else to put up with it.

They never back down from constant failure, almost make me respect in some ways. I would have gave up out of shame a long time ago.

This guy got pretty beat up by chinese nationalist/wumaos for his comment about "HK being over" Possibly the quote was out of context. Since his views are probably more neutral realist

I have Stephen Roach's book and it was an interesting read since he went on some length dispelling a great deal of myth that persists to this day regarding China's alleged INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THEFT as commanded by the State. He posited questions and facts that if China were stealing all these techs, then why are their companies being sued or brought to justice in places like the WTO. He made a point that much of the accusations come from companies (mostly western, American etc..) that have fallen favour or market share from their domestic counterparts. Hence, those companies and bitter employees cry wolf to their western mothers a.k.a. government that big bad China are nothing but a land of thieves.

I read his piece on SCMP about HK being over, while I disagree with his learned opinion, his framing is entirely understandable since after all he's an American through and through. But, the overreactions of Hong Kongers, Chinese people are also quite understandable considering the tensions that exist and engulfing much of the relationship between China and the U.S.
