A lot of these things look suspicious it really feels like Web3.0/NFT promises during the lockdowns.
Look at web3.0 and NFT now no one really talks about it. Kind of like how a decade or so ago you had people talk about how the Omnissiah was about to be born, until deep learning got stuck at a wall it couldn't break through and funding stopped.

Im sure the same will happen with LLMs but for now billions are being plunged into LLMs and people will want to grab as much crumbles as they can from the Nvidia and OpenAI cake.

These type of systems when end up having to need "<company product> consultants" or "<company product> certified professional" to make use of it properly and to align with any real buisness case. I worked as a consultant that was suppose to "Automate/Save money over coding" solution, in reality maybe the cost was the same but headache worst since you had to work within the limitation of the product's framework. Todays Full Stack Engineers will just end up being transition to that type of work. Software app velocity spam may increase so maybe not a real lost of too many jobs.

You can just use chatgpt or gemini to help make some Proof of Concept type apps, but wiring everything together becomes a job. Also, can you really trust what is being spit out? You still need to look it over, run test, understand what is going on etc.

It would be funny if Tiktok was banned and the zoomers voted Trump in the White House because he promises to unban it?

For fun I watched the livestream of the house vote on Tiktok ban on Tiktok, most of the users were spamming "The people should overthrow the government" non stop.

The last time I saw these kind of message on livestream non stop was on Jan 6th. ;)

The thing people usually try to skip or ignore is that software development is an extremely human process. To the point it shocked me when I just started.. It made me a more social and approachable person tho.

But good luck getting multiple teams, departments etc work together smoothly. Also good luck getting sales and business people to properly define their problems or requirements. Informing them it's not possible.

The only useful task and productivity boost I could see in the Devin demo was collecting documentation from different sources etc. Maybe make a small plan how to handle the problem.

So either way, America caused the EU economy to go down. Either it did it by cutting its ability to get oil from Russia and goods from China or it did it by withdrawing its own lifelines. It's just a matter of direct or indirect damage. Either way, Europe's economy is in trouble and it's America's doing. That's what they get for willingly submitting themselves to subjugation.
