I am sure there are problems in US workforce but this more like hit piece. These Qataris have enough money to put camera inside can also buy off few people to exaggerate a problem. US system is prone to lobbyists. There could be commercial reason to prevent MBS from building two airlines built on Boeing 787s. There are other issues like this Israel/Qatar/Turkey. This time instead of directly attacking Qatar. Saudis choose Turkey to remind it in polite way that it does not have any Soft Power.

I have been thinking and that usually a bad sign for me because i start seeing things that might not be there. But given the recent promotion of DEI stuff, it does feel like a copium cover for the degradation of western work forces. Because for as long as i have been alive(30+ years) the US was never really known for its exceptional public educational system, it was mostly know for its Ivy league universities.

The people that went through that educational system are now the ones running the factory floors trying to untangle the mess of an even dumber and overworked newer generation of workers. Workers that now have to run multiple shifts every day, never really starting their work days well rested, so they start taking painkillers, do coke and smoke weed to numb the body and soul.

You can also see the same here happening in Europe just lagging behind a decade or so. The funding for public education got greatly reduced after GFC of 2008. So Europe also entered into this vicious cycle of ever more degrading skill level of their workers. Also its easy to blame immigrants but those same immigrants either 1st gen or 2nd are going through the same public school system. You can see the results in the recent PISA scores.

Like i said maybe im over thinking things.

Hard to tell which factors contributed how much to the downfall of Boeing. One thing is for sure, these recent incidents from Boeing probably aren't a FUD hitpiece from the Qataris.
