thats your lack of understanding of Soft Power. calling Hard power a Soft Power. only few Royal Families in Arabian peninsula has Soft Power and they use it very discreetly. not every thing is online.
To benefit from Arabic Soft Power you have to change society and willing to pay the price to gain Arabic Soft Power. As long as Ukraine produce agriculture products Russia cannot block its ports because these exports enhance Arabic Soft power.
this is example of lack of Soft power that benefit US which Iran suppose to fight.
never change my friend.

That is exactly my thinking too. I want to buy 6% share of Arabic soft power. Is it in the stock market? Could you tell how much it is? In dollar terms i mean. I am willing to pay the price.

The US trying to psychologically convince themselves they aren't the worst example of themselves. If true, what does this "truth" reveal? They hoping the Chinese revolt against their government? Americans can brag about how much money they make but everything they have cost more to buy and do. That's why they don't like Power Purchasing Parity. They don't have more money like they want to believe. The way they think is like Banana Republicans with ten million peso notes. This story is really for Americans so they don't revolt and change their government. Look at how much they have to work and get little out of it. Look at how much money China invest in a world-class infrastructure on their cities and yet still have a military that makes the worry. They ain't doing that and they ain't certainly doing both. Look at how the West is worried about China using its money for influence around the world... and have a military that makes them worry. They should be able to do everything better than China and yet they're having trouble doing both.

Imaging they are facing the Chinese military - no idea about the authenticity of the alleged "CCTV video" regarding the highly automated missile-producing facility though.

Yup, like other social media such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc, TikTok is doing censorship for the US government instead of the Chinese government.

The wicked wicked CPC: they are not only killing Uyghurs, they are also murdering Muslims from foreign countries!

One comment on the article. It quotes an Admiral saying Chinese military spending as 4% of GDP.

However, that $700 Bn is effectively a military PPP conversion, so it's better to compare with China's economy in PPP terms. That halves the figure to 2% of GDP.

This is a maximum figure as the Chinese economy is undercounted 25-40% as per Atimes. Plus comparing military PPP spending against consumer PPP GDP will result in an inflated Chinese figure for military spending as a % of GDP, as per acquisitiontalk.

So my guess is that Chinese military spending is actually around 1.7% of GDP, which is only half the US level

You dont need to do that.

The Chinese government publishes documents on overall spending, and in there PLA is about 5% of government budget (believes it's like around 12% for US).

And there's also a number for it (which held up against GDP, is around those 1.7%).

The Americans are just salty that the PLA usually gets like 2x to 20x more for their money compared to US military.
