Lieutenant General
I had some thought about this rumors of China pressuring Iran to pressure Houthi to resolve the Red Sea situation. Suppose it's true, either it doesn't work out and we continue on as before and China doesn't lose anything since no one expects China to play the global godfather role here (despite the Iran-Saudi rapprochement, it will take a couple more of those for China to gain the global street cred), or it works in which case Xi should get a Nobel Peace Prize and China will be expected to play peacemaker again in the future between Russia and Ukraine with major street cred gain globally.

Imagine how that looks to 3rd party. US can't sort out out this mess with bombs and missiles so they go to China asking China to resolve this. And China without firing a shot sits all parties down and do something like:

Permanent ceasefire in Gaza strip. Israel to vacate all positions they've gained since October 7th. China will talk to South Africa and others to drop current genocide investigation into Israel.

Houthi to cease harassment of shipping through the Red Sea, not only that Houthi is to be charged with the responsibility to use their weapons for good to ensure no other parties or pirates can harm shipping in the Red Sea, for a modest payment from ships passing through.

Something like that happens it would be negative for US, Iran and Israel while positive for China, Houthi and Hamas. I hope Americans realize they when they asked China for help.

Iran could have benefited from this situation playing a similar role but they waited too long and were too reserved to make their move. Houthi may be a proxy but they are ambitious and have their own plans and are not 100% under Iran control.

Xi is not Modi to be so easily seduced by a worthless western paperweight trinket to expend Chinese national political capital putting out fires for America.

We are long past the point of no-return to the old win-win relationship China was offering America, since America insist on playing zero-sum games and is itching to have a world war against China just as soon as it can find enough balls to actually step up and take a swing.

With such American attitudes, China is being the mature adult not actively setting fires for them, to go actively putting fires out for America would be beyond stupid for China. To do it for a fake Nobel ‘Peace Prize’ would be tantamount to treason since that might as well be the CIA’s Best Asset Prize if it was to be named accurately.

And let history not forget, China never instigated this war, America did and its American industrial Complex that controls the American government and people. China is strong, stronger than its ever been I believe China can prevail, Chinese cities alone look like utopias and put Western countries in a dark shadow to its glory. We're pretty much at the point China was at during the ancient dynasty eras where the Europeans were in awe. Everyone wanted to trade with China and it was a great honor to do trade with them, only the best of every civilization got to do business with China. But this time, like I said, China is not just a beautiful dragon, but a strong one, it's natural selection and evolution in a world with a humans species that cannot see eye to eye and cooperate peacefully.

You know how the US spent over $800m on China bad propaganda?

I wonder why you need so much money. The best form of propaganda requires only MS paint or something.

What does Tiananmen Massacare and Uyghur genocide have in commons? They rely on cheap misleading crops of photos as their iconic image.

Notice how the Tiananmen square is at the back? Then why are the tanks moving away from it? Aren't the tanks supposed to be moving towards the square and that brave student is blocking then? Thats why they have to crop it out.

Why is there a Weibo Xinjiang Government Watermark here? Why would they so openly post something like this? Is there other stuff they want to show? Oh its actually a drug talk?

The "Uighur genocide" is the greatest lie of the 21st century. It was propped up by the most sophisticated misinformation campaign in recent history. Many Chinese people, including myself, will probably never forgive the West for this.
