Well, nothing has changed, China is still committed to defending Taiwan and the rest of the country. They'll try to do it in a way that hurts as few people as possible, as they did in Xinjiang.
In light of increased US aggression, Beijing may be forced to use more violence, and/or seek increased collective security. Regardless of that, the PLA and whole nation of China stands behind defending itself in any situation, whether from US or India, whether on sea, air or land, as long as it is in China or her allies' territories.
