Going to rant just a little bit about that recent BRI Forum.

I suspect that event, and its impact, is more important than we think, but we are too close to see it, not yet at any rate.

1. Everyone showed up. Not everyone, but pretty clear that this was a major event, for the world. Since the Western media is downplaying it, if they report it at all, would suggests they are in shock. The truth is, no country in the West is able to bring this many separate countries together to met in one room. There is the U.N., which is an organization, not a country.

2. One clear item that is totally exposed as a fraud, is the debt trap narrative. That is self-evident given the number of attendees. They did not all come to reschedule their debt, they want more projects.

3. Another propaganda item exposed as irrelevant is the Uygiurs genocide claim. No Muslim country believes that. I really do wonder if the Western media and Indian media will continue with the debt trap BRI narrative (which no one who participates in the actual BRI believes), and the anti-Muslims politicies of the CCP (which no Muslim countries believes). Propaganda for the echo chambers.

4. The most glaring point, the Western media or India media, they do not mention, like they are scared to mention it, or they are too ignorant (aka, stupid). It is what Mao Zedong talked about, winning hearts and minds. When over 130 countries show up, that says something. One country that did not show up was Malaysia, but the leader had a state visit a couple of weeks ago? Everyone shows up, willingly.

That's the rant. What happened probably far more significant than we realize.

There were some Western media stories that said this BRI Forum will be taking place under the shadow of the conflict somewhere else. Yeah, right. What a sissy ass weak mentality that is.

I suspect that the anti-China media will continue with the debt trap narrative of the BRI, and the Uygiurs oppression narrative. They got nothing else, but the truth. The truth will give them butt hurt and hemorrhoids.

It is what Chairman Mao said, in point 4, that goodwill, that will be the key asset going forward.

And all they want to do is talk about the looming showdown between the United States and China.

I mean, who the hell cares?

:D

I think I know why the U.S. was so keen to test that nuke: they are overwhelmed and feel helpless in the face of so many factors work g against them.
Apparently, the US is now being governed like the politburo standing committee or the war hammer High Lords of Terra, but without the experience or competence. Origins, article is from Axios:

The other development is that some reports are beginning to surface about the deals struck at the BRI Forum, such as the story above.

Let's face it, they talked openly about pivoting away from the dollar during the recent BRICS summit, and now with the concluded BRI Forum, more concrete actions are being taken towards that end.

But, we only know a tip of the iceberg. The signing ceremony was for a total of 93 billion, which they kept it a state secret. Probably Huawei building something for somebody.

The BRI Forum 2023 is over, but something is up, this story will linger as the projects continue.

It is going to be funny if they found out, oh my god, Huawei is building this for a US ally in the Middle East, but they never knew about it because the deal was in RMB.

Get bent.

Man, this isn't the way to go about it. Those guys were as much victims of nazist aggression as we were.

Tbh the west is to blame for starting this race to the bottom, by creating revisionist propaganda about soviet and Chinese victims of nazis, even to the extent of rehabilitating the memory of and extolling some nazis.

Because of them, no memory is sacred anymore.

Schindler's List is a work of mass media, not a scholarly work of history. Rejecting the film does not amount to denying Holocaust or any historical revisionism. Given Israel's ongoing weaponization of public sentiments on Holocaust to justify its atrocities, I see works of mass media designed to elicit strong emotional responses on the subject as harmful. History classes should of course continue to teach Holocaust as part of WWII history.

The same would apply to WWII Chinese history as well if China was to occupy Japan, mass murder Japanese civilians and invoke WWII history as a central part of the propaganda efforts.
