The long-planned counter-offensive, now in its second month, has run into several problems – not least that Kyiv is still waiting for approximately half of the western military equipment promised earlier in the year...[Ukraine's] lack the air cover and advanced jets to protect their ground forces from Russian attack helicopters and fighters.

Once again, reality have a way of waking most people up. :)

Then, the KMT DESERVES and belong into the TRASHBIN.
Hou Yu-ih, KMT's Presidential candidate, does not inspire much confidence. He recently backtracked on his promise to keep the compulsory military service at 4 months and stated he would push for U.S. arms deliveries if elected. Unlike Hou Yu-ih who seems afraid of saying anything that could be interpreted as pro-China, Terry Gou has been outspoken about his wish to bring cross-strait relations to the pre-DPP state and he is doing much better in polls that Hou Yu-ih.

Ko Wen-je, TPP's candidate, has been also saying some pretty outlandish stuff recently. Lai is obviously the worst choice but the other two only seem marginally better.

Statement from the Royal Palace of Morocco:

"His Majesty his King Mohammed VI, may God help him, has received a letter from the Prime Minister of the State of Israel, His Excellency Benyamin Netanyahu.

Through this letter, the Israeli Prime Minister informed His Majesty the King, may God help him, of the decision of the State of Israel to "recognize Morocco's sovereignty over the territory of Western Sahara."

In this sense, the Israeli Prime Minister indicated that this position of his country will be "reflected in all relevant acts and documents of the Israeli Government."

In addition, he stressed that said decision will be "transmitted to the United Nations, regional and international organizations of which Israel is a member, as well as to all countries with which Israel maintains diplomatic relations."

In his letter to the Sovereign, the Israeli Prime Minister informed that Israel is positively examining “the opening of a Consulate in the city of Dakhla”, and this within the framework of the realization of this State decision”.

Right at the same time the Algerian president is meeting Xi at this very moment. Guess the Israelis don't like China's Palestine solution very much after all.
