Yes I am, because sovereignty trumps anything else. People talk just like CCP let the US shit in their face because they are willing to do so. CCP represents Chinese people, where is Chinese's people dignity?
Meaningless theatrics, one of the main advantages of China's political system is that it can't be easily goaded into doing stupid things by a loud minority of the public.

The social media buzz surrounding the thing is stupid to begin with, anyone half rational would know that there's no way that the surprise of the first salvo would be wasted on a meaningless US politician(Pelosi is a parasite on the United States and you don't want to do the US any favour by eliminating her), it would be a critical military and political mistake, you would lose surprise, initiative and gain the negative reputation of attacking a civilian aircraft.

The first missile of the war will be among the ones exploding on US and Taiwanese airfields, ports and Radar sites, not anywhere else. War is a matter of life and death and it will begin precisely the moment it is meant to begin. Imagined loss of dignity on social media is trivial compared to blood on the battlefield.

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, will plead guilty to two tax misdemeanors and struck a deal with federal prosecutors to resolve a felony gun charge, the Justice Department said Tuesday in

.

As part of the plea agreement, the Justice Department has agreed to recommend a sentence of probation for the two counts of failing to pay taxes in a timely matter for the years 2017 and 2018, according to sources. Hunter Biden owed at least $100,000 in federal taxes for 2017, and at least $100,000 in 2018, but did not pay what was due to the Internal Revenue Service by the deadlines.

A judge will have the final say on any sentence.

WTF? The establishment really wants Biden to drop his 2024 campaign?

Its funny seeing some the reactions from those like @Stierlitz to China hosting Blinken and other EU officials. It's diplomacy, it's the protocol you adhere to as a responsible power. Like come on politics, as is life, might be a game where you often times have to take a bite out of a shit sandwich, but offering the US Secretary of State 30 minutes of your time before sending him on his way doesn't even count as one of those moments.

Keep in mind, the Soviet Union and the USA despite at times being on the verge of mutual nuclear annhilation always kept diplomatic channels open and had more interactions then, than the the US and China are having now. Politicians in the US who even suggest that perhaps diplomatic channels with China be kept open are being called traitors. This is not a reality that's ideal for anyone. Much like how those on the US side who think China is still the same failed state it was during WW2 and would fold easily are delusional, those who think the Xi should be more like Putin and put the entire nation on the countdown to zero hour are equally delusional.

Geopolitics is a delicate dance, just let them do their jobs. If a mere conversation is enough to trigger you, then I suggest taking a break from following geopolitics because there's bound to be more stuff down the line that'll give you a genuine heart attack.
I fail to see the benefit of diplomacy when one side continually acts in bad faith and uses every opportunity to humiliate the other. Russians tried to conduct diplomacy with the West for decades and look where this got them.

I don't have a problem with China engaging with the likes of Macron who at least show respect even though their sincerity is questionable. But the likes of VDL, Baerbock, Blinken ? They should be told to pound sand.

What deal? Taiwan is Chinese territory. Chinese relations with Russia are China's sovereign right. There is no deal with Americans and their oral diarrhea. The deal is everyone does what's best for himself. The US acts like a clown over Taiwan for as long as their waning power and credibility will allow and China will support Russia as China and Russia mutually agree upon.
I could see that China does not support Russian annexation (with direct arms and intelligence) as long as US ends continued US annexation attempts on China.

The relation with Russia is mainly a defensive one, it was never said that China explicitly needed to fight with violence in Russia's offensive wars.

And frankly, Russia is doing well enough with the current levels of support.

China needs to fuel the Ukraine-Russia war for as long as possible because every $1USD headed towards Ukraine is $1USD less going towards Taiwan and APAC region. The Ukraine Episode could end up what the Sept 11/Middle East quagmire wars ended up as, draining and distracting US away from China and Pacific theatre. George Bush wanted to start the China containment as early as the 2001 EP-3 episode, but got distracted, giving China almost 20-year lee-way of runaway growth while the Empire was distracted elsewhere and accumulating debt.
