This kind of action is something that the USA lives to do and look at what the nation has become now. China is winning primarily by being smart, not being a freaking yank, who cannot feel secure unless they have multiple hand guns in there house which comes with a massive increase in the likelihood of losing their children because the kid thought COD is something they can enjoy in real life with head shots to their nearby sibling.

China is giving the US chances to course correct before China enacts countermeasures. So long as the actual war-triggering red lines has clearly and repeatedly set out are not breached, China will continue to salami slice and make war prep, but it will not start a war lightly or be rushed into it. China will go to war when it has no choice not to, it’s actively preparing for that day to minimise the cost to China, but it’s not something to rush into or actively want to happen.
This should be a lesson of not listening to GlobalTimes nationalistic frothing of mouth about Pelosi visit. Even just one week ago, GlobalTimes refuted rumors of Blinken trip while every other outlet reported Blinken was coming. GT is not very credible. Same reason you don't trust every word coming from mainstream US media, same for GT. The Chinese leadership is wise, it will choose the right moment to expel US from East Asia, not only from Taiwan, but also Korea and Japan. The timing is under China's control, have confidence.
