I am generally positive of South Korea but their nationalism is a huge meme. Like huge... Their male youth, who are mostly nationalists, voted in a right winger. That right winger pardoned Japan and tried to have the same youth work 80.5 hours a week. This is the summary of South Korean nationalism.
Note: Turkish nationalism is a meme too.
I would say these are better choices. Air power requires a lot of human and physical capital to become effective.
