The Australian argument is of the same energy how Americans defend their invasions. "But we are a democracy", "But we criticize our own government"... Australia broke a taboo regarding sharing of fissile material and HEU reactors and they are subsidizing US operations in Asia-Pacific by buying items that don't make any sense in any other context. But they are transparent!!!!!

China should just say their build-up is for defending Chinese territorial integrity and destroying forces who tried to prevent China from doing that. Open enough.

such a refreshing touch of truth from China. Compare that with mealymouth westerners and even Russia who are keen to recruit India as an ally. Unfortunately the effect has been to pump up Indian ego, such that India believes it has a chance against China. In order to prevent further Galwans and Doklams, India must be humbled, by telling it the truth.

Price Tag = +$200 million USD.

That bridge isn’t going to be finished until the early 2030s at the minimum lmao. Price tag will probably be almost $500 million by the time it is operational.

The first half is pretty much what I said. But if China’s goal is to meet America head on, it would mean war, and more than just Micron that gets banned. And that may just play right into America’s plan.

US will escalate sanctions w/wo talks. China wants to talk, but not without removing the sanctions first. How do you pressure the US to do that without risking an actual war. “”Can US stand these risky air and sea encounters and not talk for 5 years””. Classic risk management.
