DEMOCRACY BUILDS BETTER; TAKE THAT BRI

The blame is on US politicians for giving the Pentagon almost a trillion dollar budget without any restriction or goal at all, like throwing sugar on the floor and then complaining why there so many ants in your house, if you force the pentagon into a diet they will have to put this "offense" contractors into a diet too, add new competition to that, this contractors and the pentafon will have to make things cheap or lose their contracts.
Its looks like an easy solve but when you have these huge military corpos and their overpaid national security think tankers screaming "CHINA CHINA BIG BAD WOLF CHINA IS COMING" every 3 seconds for some reason looks like impairs the communication of the two only functional neurons of most US politicians.
They should just outsource their Defense procurement to CHYNA and VOILA!! problem solved LOL...

I think that has more to do with Mexican demographics. Historically there were a lot of Middle Eastern migration into South America. For example Carlos Slim and Shakira are of Middle Eastern descent. In fact, there are probably more people of Lebanese descent in Brazil than in Lebanon itself. There isn't much to read here. It's literally to same as Chinese Americans celebrating their Chinese heritage or Irish American celebrating Saint Patrick's day. There aren't Mexican celebration of African heritage simply because there aren't very many Afro-Mexicans. The gentleman you are arguing with is either delusional or just have a really poor understanding of the world, and it's both in my opinion.
I am pointing some thing else. He thinks that flag of a country at book fair in Mexico has some thing to do with wealth of country (aka Hard Power). my point was that Mexico has now very different status. Mexico is now not only became largest trading partner of US but the busiest land border and the most flights among two countries. Its all due to Soft Power of demographics and this may be happening faster than estimates. Hard Power need Soft Power to become effective and sustainable.

I wont be surprised if these military contractors buy parts or materials from Alibaba or other Chinese commerce places and then charge the Pentagon outrageous prices.

Three US companies were sanctioned for sending defense blueprints to China. They are accused of transferring files of technical drawings and blueprints used to 3D print satellites, rocket technology, and other defense-related prototypes just so they could save on costs. These unauthorized exports resulted in a penalty known as a temporary denial order (TDO), which is described as one of the most severe civil penalties applicable.

Sigh, you can't really fault a 99 yo for living in the past. But the time to drive a wedge between China and Russia is over.

Current "scoreboard" for the 2023 Kashmir G20 meeting according to "Middle East Eye":
Will boycott:
  • China
  • Turkey
  • Saudi Arabia
May boycott:
  • Indonesia
  • Eygpt

Kissinger is a BILDERBURG MAN. A group that's been founded back in 1954 and he, Kissinger has been attending this secretive meeting, and very secretive group since 1957. What's the purpose of the BILDERBURG group to begin with? what's their core mission? why the need for secrecy, and why do leaders of countries from western world, including NATO chiefs attend such group?

The west can form so many groups, hold secret meetings, yet, China can't even have something closely similar to what the west have without getting jumped and accused as the anti-Christ LOL...

See HOW F...G STUPID the government/leaders/agencies and people are in America? they whine and complain about these exorbitant costs for their beloved military and yet when someone attempt to logically try to reduce the cost they get punished severely because of sexy bad CHYNA!!! Yet, they are more than willing to overlook their super duper corrupt defense corpos gouging their defense dept like Al Capone LOL...

It's brilliant, actually. There is already a glut of NAND chips globally. Meanwhile, YMTC already has technological advantage but lack market share and production capacity. By shutting Micron out China just opened a huge market for de-Americanised NAND chips. Either Samsung & SK Hynix ditch US and share the Chinese market with YMTC, or they can enjoy competing with Micron for the shrinking slice of pie that is the Western market. And you can bet that there is no way that US government will let Micron be destroyed by South Koreans, so the axe will come down on the South Koreans once there is any perception of Micron getting outplayed. Even if they survive, they'll only be the next in line to be destroyed once YMTC swallows the Chinese domestic market and becoming a global giant in NAND. China just handed South Korea a big test: either ignore US and thrive, or surrender to US and risk losing one of your most important industries. In the bigger picture, I don't really think China cares if South Korea choses either way. But for Koreans, it's a matter of survival. Hence I think this is the reason why Yoon Suk Yeol was behaving like a cuck in front of Biden.
Will be too foolish to think China just happened to found out Micron chip post security threat recently. China strategy is all about patience and timing, they must have found local alternative to all the Micron's NAND chips.

What you mentioned is happening because US has no other options. US literally only borders 2 countries, and it sure won't be moving its manufacturing jobs to Canada for obvious reasons. For the past several decades US has been outsourcing jobs to Asia, and now it's trying to snuff out Asian industries because US is literally being outcompeted. What could possibly be safer than to move those industries to a weaker, poorer nation right next to you which you have infiltrated inside out? US has a high degree of control over Mexico both through soft and hard power, from the Coca Cola Mexicans drink to the hard boots of US Army trampling on Mexican soil if it steps too far out of line. Have you seen the equipment of Mexican military? Even a single US State National Guard could crush them, and I think that's for a reason. Imagine if Mexico has the soft and hard power of Russia. Any of what you stated would still happen?

So in the end, you are partially correct that disparity in soft power contributes to the close US-Mexico relationship, but it's not in the direction which you stated. It's actually US soft power that dominates Mexico, not the other war around.

If US soft power dominated that Mexico demographics will be worse than US. Hispanic demographics grew much faster both inside US and in Mexico. If you truly want to see US soft power than its over Canada. Just look at changing demographics and cost of living.
