I have been a political junkie for 15 years give or take. The mainstream media narrative about India has always been bullish. I didn't see any of the said predictions coming true. I didn't see anyone explaining why India ought to be more successful than China despite not showing any comparable level of success in the last 40 years.
That's because India superpower is basically the equivalent of China collapse.
Gotta get on with the times. Wars aren't fought with warriors in armor using melee weapons anymore. They're fought with PhDs, engineers, guys with glasses wearing socks under sandles who have never been to the gym ever. Engineering a nuke is about as manly as engineering a bioweapon. Embrace it and make your own; China has more nerds than any other country in the world by a far margin.

India is about 20 years behind China. China wasn't that relevant in cutting edge technology R&D 20 years ago, either. It's just not at the same stage of development, which is an all of society problem that IT out sourcing can't solve. The top talent from India do not stay in India. They certainly don't work for Indian companies.
