Anytime she is ready. Its time the French & British bred love product has to be shown it's place in garbage box.
I really want to show them who is the boss. Lets see the bikini boys dare to f--t.
It is going to be very difficult to show who’s boss when the USA economy is about to tank for real. They want to do these things because they stupidly dropped a couple on there own economy already and they realised they these isn’t much of a house left to nuke. They might want to think things over before they end up dying from radioactive poisoning

U.S. in Talks With Huawei Finance Chief Meng Wanzhou About Resolving Criminal Charges
Justice Department is discussing an arrangement that would allow her to return to China in exchange for admitting wrongdoing

I do think this is quite significant. It is quite a worrying indication that the US has U-turned, just like its promise to ban TikTok which is now left hanging in the air (and leaving TikTok confused). This see-sawing will only lead people to wonder about the stability of US commitments. USA is a superpower, and its actions percolate through the world. Contradicting actions from the US is not good for economic development and stability for the rest of the world. I'm sure @plawolf will have things to say about this.

Hi Crang,

If she accept it, It will justified the accusation against Huawei and may led to more litigation?

Yes, she doesn't want to plead guilty because of the complications. It would mean admitting Huawei did wrong, and would set the wrong precedent and could be used as a tool to recriminalize Huawei in the future. It is such a minefield. If anything, it could be a trap set by the Justice Department to ensnare Huawei. Get Meng to plead guilty, thus proving Huawei is a violator of Iran sanctions. That would make it easier to continue the attack on Huawei. And they might still get her sent to US for punishment after being able to make her plead guilty. Basically a forced confession Japanese style.

Hi Crang,

Then she can claim under duress as a defense? From here I smell a pile of shit that the US is planning to destroy her and Huawei. Can't destroy Huawei, focus on her daughter to eventually destroy Huawei. such a cheap and dirty trick benefiting a super power.

Under duress doesn't work. We're talking the US here. They'll twist things until the under duress part evaporates from public knowledge.

Also, this thing is going to look awfully bad for Canada. Canada and Justin Trudeau has been taken in for a ride. Canada did the grunt work for the US, but now they're going to look really silly that Canada was just used to service US needs. Canada's opinions weren't even mentioned, the country was just taken in as a punching bag between two superpowers.

Canada wasnt taken in for a ride, like Oz, it was all too happy to call shotgun

Hi Crang,

Then Meng should sacrifice herself for the benefit of Huawei and it's employee, she should be careful listening to her defense lawyers though, the US offer may had a complicit understanding with them and may compromise her defense.
