Cheapskates and weird people. Probably their way of telling the world, they're not a serious country and shouldn't be burdened with hosting International events. I'm sure the money they saved on the red carpet and assigning a few people to hoover it was spent on feeding their starving population. Jai be-hind!

I'm torn between agreeing with this and thinking this is exactly the "welcome" Blinken deserves.

Does nothing to explain spells of pneumonia in central America throughout the entire summer which coincidentally never ever happened again after covid started, nor how Italy was the first European country to have known cases despite completely shutting down travel to China.

Because some countries refuse to further contract trace, research into origins are impossible. But if it leaked from a lab, then it must be a lab from countries that have more cases of covid than China despite having no travel with China.

Here's an article about a Cambridge research paper on the genetic lineages of the COVID19 virus seen at the start of the pandemic.

The team used data from virus genomes sampled from across the world between 24 December 2019 and 4 March 2020. The research revealed three distinct “variants” of COVID-19, consisting of clusters of closely related lineages, which they label ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’.

Forster and colleagues found that the closest type of COVID-19 to the one discovered in bats – type ‘A’, the “original human virus genome” – was present in Wuhan, but surprisingly was not the city’s predominant virus type.

Mutated versions of ‘A’ were seen in Americans reported to have lived in Wuhan, and a large number of A-type viruses were found in patients from the US and Australia.

Wuhan’s major virus type, ‘B’, was prevalent in patients from across East Asia. However, the variant didn’t travel much beyond the region without further mutations – implying a "founder event" in Wuhan, or “resistance” against this type of COVID-19 outside East Asia, say researchers.

The ‘C’ variant is the major European type, found in early patients from France, Italy, Sweden and England. It is absent from the study’s Chinese mainland sample, but seen in Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea.

The above is from the Wayback Machine snapshot of the original article posted on 2020/04/09. The article was then quietly altered a few days later, with the part in red in the above quote changed to deemphasize the large number of the original ancestral A variant found in the US.

This would explain why the first large outbreak is in Wuhan and why places with large numbers of the original ancestral A lineage, such as the US, did not see large explosive outbreaks.

All large outbreaks after Wuhan outside of East Asia were caused by descendants of the C lineage. The first large deadly outbreak in the US in New York City was also caused by the C lineage that came over from Europe. The large number of the ancestral A lineage samples found in the US in this study were all collected from before the first large US outbreak in New York City.

He added: “The viral network we have detailed is a snapshot of the early stages of an epidemic, before the evolutionary paths of COVID-19 become obscured by vast numbers of mutations. It’s like catching an incipient supernova in the act.”

Unfortunately, the country where large numbers of the ancestral A lineage was found actively and aggressively prevented testing and sequencing at the early stages of the pandemic. Recall that early in the pandemic, the US CDC repeatedly delayed making testing kits widely available, then strictly restricted testing to only people with travel history to China and their contacts, forced universities and other non-CDC labs to stop their independent testing and sequencing efforts, and shutdown all research into possible COVID19 spread in the US before the Wuhan outbreak.

TL: DR It's from the US basically, possibly also from being a leak from Fort Detrick (there was some big rainfall during summer 2019, and the area around it had some 'vaping disease' right after lol).

Or well, it's basically 99% that it didn't originate from China.

Now they are publicly threatening China for simply not joining the boycott against Russia. If given the order, all vassals will follow the US even if they suffer from it.

This type of bullying must end now. China should guarantee whatever kind of help Russia needs and limit US abuses in the world. US is a threat to any sovereign country.

The Americans are now acting out of fear and insecurity because they know the crown on their head is slipping and they can't do anything to reverse their fortunes.

But it won't be China or Russia that will deal the US her mortal blow but it will come from within the US itself. Its her domestic problems that is the most dangerous but they won't deal or even acknowledge those because that would mean they have to admit that they don't know everything and that maybe others may have better ideas or systems.
