The US has to reject China's peace proposal out of hand, because accepting it means that they have to withdraw from Iraq, Syria, and most importantly, Taiwan.while the West is practically 0%, i.e. slapping China's hand away.
So says the clown who won't get 1% of the vote in the 2024 presidential election in the US.
Some US policymakers are full of hubris. That's good for China. Don't wake them up.
Speaking of imploding infrastructure:The thing here is assuming that the USA can keep the support going indefinately while their economy implodes and all these infrastructure problems (like in. Ohio doesn’t happen out of the blue at an increased frequency). Right now, Russia economy seems to be improving and while the advances in Ukraine is slow, it is gradual and while ultimately be a permanent gain for Russia. Also does NATO have the ability to continue ending arms to Ukraine while their collective economies are being gutted by the USA and their own bad choices. The longer this war continues, Russia will end up making more gains and more of NATO will end up demilitarised.
One problem I can see now is how the Neo cons in the USA want to escalate the war whilst try where they can not to get a nuclear bulls eye painted on their heads but this is countered by Russia and China pushing the west on an economic front via cutting off Europe for oil and gas (just recently Russia cut oil flows to Poland)
Along with de-dollarisijg at an increased pace. In the end, Russia will make moves against the USA where appropriate while the USA is running out of options short of nuclear war
Update an hour ago.Rare China-India joint W on the international stage.
Speaking of imploding infrastructure:
No this isn't one of the many other industrial fire in the US you've been hearing about, this is you know, fresh.
This by itself alot of effort from India that it went to foot note from prior declaration not some thing new added. Indonesia made less effort in that conference despite higher per capita country than India and far less Indonesian wealthy population exposed to West.Update an hour ago.
India, which hosted this week's G20 talks in the southern city of Bengaluru, issued a wide-ranging "chair's summary" from the meeting, noting there were "different assessments of the situation" in Ukraine, and on sanctions imposed on Russia.
A footnote said that two paragraphs summarising the war were "agreed to by all member countries except Russia and China". The paragraphs were adapted from the G20 Bali Leaders' Declaration in November, and criticised "in the strongest terms the aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine".
India stands on the same side with the US.
Let me be honest and straight, India has no guts to take a different stand from US because it isn't a pole of world affair.
But such accidents are happening with striking regularity. A Guardian analysis of data collected by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and by non-profit groups that track chemical accidents in the US shows that accidental releases – be they through train derailments, truck crashes, pipeline ruptures or industrial plant leaks and spills – are happening consistently across the country.
By one estimate these incidents are occurring, on average, every two days.
