Saw this Zhao DaShuai guy on Twitter, who is really trying to 为自己国家挖坑 (dig a hole for the one's own country (China) to fall into) with his choice of words.

@Blitzo said that correctly with his replies:

Just take a look at the number of retweets and quote tweets on Zhao's tweet on the supposed "demilitarized zones" of Ukraine in order to resolve the Ukraine war.

What China needs right now is the face of impartiality on the world stage in order to win the trust of as much of the rest of the world as possible. Yet, this third idiot sandwich aims to destroy that by making China and us wumaos look bad by going in the exact opposite direction on what the Chinese government has actually intended to do.

If the SeeSeePee truly has control over Twitter as per some Americans have claimed, this third idiot sandwich should have his Twitter account suspended for fvck's sake.

SeeSeePee doesn’t even have control over Weibo, why do people think it has control over Twitter?

I know. I'm just following the tropes of the claim by some Murimutts that Twitter is somehow "controlled by evil SeeSeePee" because Biden got elected, blah blah blah.

But my point still stands. This kind of 粉红 needs to be curbed - They are extremely unhelpful for China's cause.

That will take a few years more, so it’s better for Russia to drag the Ukraine war out a bit more. Once China is ready to makes its move, it will then send arms to allow Russia to end the war quickly and decisively in their favour.
problem insofar as I can see is that a long drawn out war may not necessarily make Russia nor the EU war weary, but more grim and determined to push this ‘holy war’ to its logical conclusion, as Stalin once said, Tsar Alexander made it all the way to Paris…

I think it’s evident given how frantic USG has been re the Chinese peace proposal, that the CIA would be in propaganda overdrive to cast aspersions on Chinese efforts at peacemaking. Even the American agents in the EU like von der leyen had to come out and trash the Chinese peace proposal despite only months ago demanding china do something re Russia.

Perhaps it’s telling you completely misunderstood the issue. Combat support vehicles are not helicopters but specialist combat engineering vehicles. If Russia maintained and invested in its combat engineering vehicle fleets properly, maybe they wouldn’t have gifted Ukraine so many broken down armour and tanks, and wouldn’t have lost so many men and machines to mines.
you need combat rescue choppers that can extract people as quick as possible. if some thing breaks down just leave there. they are not the new models anyway. there is entire video about Russian CSAR operations. it just need search on internet. there is no evidence that new version of ground vehicles are reliable. thats the reason T-15 platform taking so long to certify.

Silly little strawman you created. Read what I said. You want to argue having a massive space based ISR fleet at its disposal will not be a massive boost for Russia in the Ukraine war?
yup Israel also has that massive space based ISR. for clear weather of Middleast and Africa. If Russia really needed so many satellites it would have decided when it entered Syria.
here there is cloud cover most of the winter so the need is much less. what Russia need is high altitude AWACS with GaN modules like Israel. I am sure they have good idea as most of systems are incorporated into A-100 and Tu-214R system. Russia inspired its drone Programme from Israel. It was Israel that put 600gallon/CFT combined into single engine fighter. so they know about deep strikes.

I don't think Zhao DaShuai is wrong, this Erik guy is overreacting. If LNR/DNR isn't recognized by the international community, neither should Kosovo. If Zhao Dashuai's proposal is illegitimate, then so is the current situation in Kosovo.

What is impartial in the real world? How can you even propose an impartial ceasefire?

Exactly. When Trump was talking about shooting people during the BLM protests, American embassies throughout the world were making pro-BLM posts. Yet every single Chinese official has to have the exact same opinion.

Whoevers posting this is just expressing their opinion, or just plain trolling.

China considers sending Russia artillery shells, U.S. officials say. The aid being contemplated consists of 122-millimeter and 152-millimeter rounds, which Russia has in dwindling supply as it prosecutes a war largely fought with artillery, the officials said.
“China has the capacity to be a game changer,” said a senior U.S. administration official.

Right because Russia isn't able to make their own artillery shells.

It's like they don't even care if people believe them anymore.

In that case, China wouldn’t go with that supposed proposal since China doesn’t recognize Kosovo at all.

Well, I think that's where the 1450 and 50w cyberarmies roaming in the Chinese Internet come from.

They can appear patriotic or even nationalistic, but their aim is to smear the faces of China and the Chinese people by trying to portray China and the Chinese people as overtly aggressive, hostile, militaristic and even colonialistic in front of the international audience.

Of course, there are many Chinese citizens and wumaos who are truly patriotic and love China. But they are also susceptible to being misled and misguided by these cyberarmies to make China and the Chinese people look bad on the internet.

The term that you are looking for is 拱火 (fan the flames).

Do note that I'm not claiming that Zhao is either a 1450/50w cyberarmy or a true patriotic nationalist, because I don't know who he actually is. But the aforementioned scenario happening on the Chinese internet and elsewhere should be taken care of.

No, I don't think that the Erik guy is overreacting. On the other hand, Zhao's proposal is indeed illigitimate.

He's literally proposing in his map that, on top of a demilitarized zone east of the Dneiper, Kiev should voluntarily hand over the oblasts of Donetsk, Lughansk, Zaporozhizhhya, Kherson and Crimea to Russia.

This means that his proposal fundementally violated China's principle and call for the respect of a country's territorial integrity.

Remember that Beijing has never recognized these oblasts as part of Russia.

In fact, his suggestion basically goes against the wishes and principles of Beijing and Belgrade, i.e. Taiwan belongs to China, and Kosovo belongs to Serbia.

If the Chinese government's stance is just as he claimed, i.e. Ukraine should voluntarily give away parts of Ukraine that are internationally recognized as part of Ukraine to Russia, then what should China respond vis-a-vis Taiwan, South China Sea, Aksai Chin and South Tibet? Should China voluntarily give away these regions too?
