Nah I think that they'll get used to it eventually. I still don't think it is that big of a deal until media made it so.

A single AIM-9 Sidewinder (AIM-9X variant) air-to-air missile was fired by an F-22 operating at 58,000 feet. The balloon was operating at 60,000-65,000 feet at the time it was intercepted. U.S. officials say they were able to block the balloon from gathering intelligence during its cruise over the United States. The U.S. military was able to gather intelligence on the balloon itself, while it was left without its function. Balloon entered US ADIZ north of Aleutian Islands on Jan. 28, into Canada Jan. 30
Official: Chinese PLA balloons have traversed airspace in 5 continents, including East Asia, South Asia and Europe. the PRC has a "fleet" of such spy balloons. US Navy and Coast Guard vessels in the area to start recovery of debris. Debris in 47 feet of water, expected to be "easy" but no timeline available now
