The Pentagon has stated they believe a 3rd Chinese High-Altitude Surveillance Balloon is somewhere outside the U.S.
Diplomatic invitation is NOT the same thing as your inviting your buddy for a dinner. Not officially announced means no invitation, it is a black and white thing.
