If you include cia/nsa/black budgets, the US likely 1 trillion a year on "defense", that is nearly 1/3 of annual tax revenues lol
Real question is why would China even be interested in this kind of "intelligence"? So they could sell more stuff on Temu?
Also, good luck powering those gas guzzlers as soon as the shooting begins, because no tanker ship is going to be daredevil and dock at any Taiwan-controlled ports, alongside those fuel depots geting flattened by PLA strikes.
