A pro-separatist Tainan City Councilor Lee Tsung-Lin revealed that China has conducted "food-based reunification infiltration attempt in Taiwan" through snail rice noodle packages from China imported to Taiwan through a Tainan agent. The packaging are printed with the text "You are Chinese, I am also Chinese, lets' (re)unite, you are my people", which Lee claimed that these words "have a strong meaning of reunification by China" and suggested that they be removed from the shelves.

On International Women's Day this year Su Tseng-chang was questioned in Legastive Yuan regarding his thoughts on women and he went on to recite a poem
"女人是平凡的，月朗星稀，是多少女人用晨炊点燃新的一天，把零零碎碎缝补成美丽"
He claims it's a poem by Sun Yat-sen, the only small problem with that is Sun Yat-sen never wrote this and dramatizing historical events around the founding of ROC.
Of course I can see the logic in Su Tseng-chang watching CCTV 主旋律 TV shows, I can recommend him Awakening Age / 觉醒年代, as it's about the formation of CPC and is fully of juicy details on how CPC founders dealt with KMT in their day, no doubt this would prove inspirational for Su in his day job as head of DPP.

Younger generation doesn’t even know who Cao Cao is. Older generation thought that the Southern Song Dynasty declared independence from the Northern Song dynasty and is precedence for Taiwan to do the same.
