How clueless can CGTN get. They are a Chinese international news network and here you have the Chinese President coming for a very important state visit and they don’t show live coverage of the moment Xi meets Saudi officials.

If this was CNN, they would be having wall to wall coverage and expert discussions about the American President’s state visit and show live coverage.
maybe they did it on purpose?

Recipient countries have a positive view of Chinese loans. NPR hurriedly makes up 20,000 excuses to keep up the "debt trap" narrative.
Surprised this piece was not written by some diaspora Asian. Western media usually hides behind them to make it look less racist and whitesplainatory than in reality.

Funny guys. Real imperialism never depicts the territory of delusion. Imperialism's ambition is always the whole world, rather than planning a limited expansion scope for itself in advance.

But it is meaningless to just receive some equipment that will be destroyed at any time.
The equipment is likely to be destroyed immediately by CIA agents. And these technicians will be evacuated by the Americans when the situation is tense.

The top management seems to be hoping for a "technological breakthrough" that will always be on the horizon.
I think it is necessary and urgent to take military action, but the reason is that the United States seems to want Taiwan to become a bleeding point similar to Ukraine.

I don't know whether the leadership can accomplish such a great task. Only time and action can prove everything, but we still do not see any signs of policy change. KMT's victory in the election may buy more time for Taiwan Island
Exactly, it is meaningless for America if China takes initiative and physically destroys all major TSMC property. Technicians can go to the mainland, if they refuse, they carry important details in their heads and should be eliminated in order to not leak anything to USA. Of course, a few could escape, but China will have more loyalists and more captured people than the few which CIA can get out.

China presently needs to change its internal relationship with Taiwan, because it is clear that the island is A) posing a national security threat B) undermining Chinese trade secrets to America.

Directly storming the rebel positions might not be advisable as long as there's a chance of negotiating peaceful terms, but rather than the so called "peace" that has allowed foreign agents to flourish on Chinese soil and plan terror attacks, China should model a new relationship on Taiwan, equivalent to Israel's relationship with the West Bank.

There's for now no need to kill the leadership of KMT, but government planes and military must be able to operate and strike freely on national security threats in Taiwan. If there is a rebel held rocket that can hit civilians in Taiwan, instead of waiting around, PLA should destroy it. If there is a factory that is exporting sensitive technology to USA without CPC permission, PLA should level the factory.

This is the next logical step of tightening border control and enforcing sovereignity.
