Yes I saw that clip of him doing that weird goose step run. Some people thought it was mocking the Japanese player but others said he does this too when playing for Chelsea like weird running habit or something, he isn't racist but no idea.
Yes, Rudiger does that when he played at Chelsea and now with Real Madrid. I don't think he did it with any racist intent. He was simply mocking his opponent. Just like how he would mock players from Arsenal if he was playing for Chelsea. That is why I dislike Rudiger. He is an above average defender with an inflated ego. He belittles his opponents. I don't think he is racist. I just think that he is a c**t.
Klinsmann though, after what he said on BBC commentary about Iran team and his follow on non apology is definitely a racist. Maybe his bad karma cursed his national team lol
But to be fair, Germany performed badly last WC too, think this a first time they exited in group stage of 2 consecutive WC, seem like their national football team is going through very rough patch even though their domestic league is quite good.
Yeah I do think that Klinsmann is a racist. He says that Iran likes to play the match officials. Well, who is also an expert on playing the match officials? Klinsmann himself! He was notorious for being a diver. He even mocked opponents who called him a diver by doing a 'diving' celebration.
What Iran is doing is part and parcel of modern football. Playing the match officials is part of modern football strategy. Spain does it, Germany does it, Brazil does it. Why does Klinnsmann only singled out Iran?
Anyway Klinnsmann and Germany got what they deserved. They showed their ugly racism in their disastrous 2018 World Cup. Too many German fans and even figures in the German footballing world blamed it on minority players like Ozil and Boateng.
Looks like Germany will have to endure this dark age until they start to humble down. England is not a shining example. But they have learned to become more humble after many years of being a laughing stock of Europe. The England FA protects their minority players much better than the German FA. I hate the English football team, but I have to give them credit when they are doing some things right.
Asian teams doing well this WC. While I dun care for Aus(obvious racist country) or Japan (trying to be honorary western country), at least I can get somewhat behind SK, so congrats to them. Even though they are all direct rivals of China national team for WC qualifications, but not like the Chinese national team are going places anytime soon anyway.
I don't know. I actually like the Japanese football team better than the SK one. Forget about the Japanese government, elites, and those Nippon Kaigi A-holes. But look at the average Japanese people. Sure, they don't love China. But they are more respectful and curious about China than many other Asians.
I can't say the same for the average South Koreans. They certainly look at China with much more open contempt. They have initiated alot of culture wars with China recently. And when it comes to sports, they have played dirty when competing with China. They even resort to insulting the Chinese when things don't go their way. Look at how the SK entertainment industry treats of portrays the Chinese. It appears to me that SK society today is much more racist against the Chinese than the Japanese society.
Look at the Japanese fans at Qatar, they look like they are proud to be Japanese, not some American junior wannabe. Look at the SK fans at Qatar, especially the youths. Dressed up in K-pop fashion. Many are wearing Halloween plastic devil horns for god knows what reason. Have they already forgotten what happened last Halloween?
So while I'm happy that Asian teams are progressing well in the World Cup. If I had to choose, I would support Japan over South Korea.
