Soon they will be saying how a lower GDP is a good thing and that recessions are good for the soul to build character
Cutting the fat putting America on financial diet.

Well, as the water crisis looms due to climate change, there a few articles basically going "you know what?. Water sucks; you don't really need to drink water"
Do you remember the articles and celebs claiming showering is not needed etc the last year?

Yes!. Next you know, they'll tell us to go back to 17th century european practices of just using perfumes and showering once a month with a wet rag.
All the landwhales in Texas can go on an extended dry fast where not only do you not eat but you also dont drink... they have enough fat stored up where it can convert to water, (this is how camels work too) and with ketosis they can go a year without any food...

Back in 2020, prominent economist Tyler Cowen wrote an op ed proclaiming America's high number of COVID deaths was a good thing because it demonstrated America's high tolerance for casualties.

). Yes, the U.S. has botched its response to Covid-19. At the same time, its experience shows that America as a nation can in fact tolerate casualties, too many in fact. It had long been standard Chinese doctrine that Americans are “soft” and unwilling to take on much risk. If you were a Chinese war game planner, might you now reconsider that assumption?
