The handling of the Ukraine special operation and invasion of Russia by the EU has convinced me that these political elites have totally sold out the European sovereignty in exchange for security and economic interdependence with the U.S.
The decision was made in large part because of the unfortunate racist belief and biased against Russian supposed malevolence, revanchist and desire to supposedly re-established the glory of the Soviet empire. Then you have an absolute behemoth of an economic competitor that's not only alien to most Europeans in terms of culture, language, religion, and most of all political system.
The fact that China is being run by the "Communist" (which often invokes the dreaded past of Communism in Europe) makes it easier for the useless political bums in EU to demonize China, weaken the political leaders that have pragmatic views of the country which then hold more sway to the vast swathe of EU citizens who are just as racist if not more so compared to their American counterparts. As a result, we have political leaders leading Europe that are utterly clueless when it comes to picking the right strategic approach with China. They simply copy and paste the American formula with a much crappies result because they still somehow stupidly hold the arrogant views that they are coming from the position of strength.
I wasn't aware that Ursula Von Der lying alot and Michel (he/she/me/we) have a massive standing Army, Airforce, Navy, Space Command under their command. Europeans must learn to live with their new reality that what they thought was their eden was a jungle all along, populated by Americans, Russians, and increasingly the Chinese.
The biggest red flag that the European politician are basically US puppets is that they have completely disregarded the European business elites. Their influence was basically nonexistent and now those elites are fleeing to the US with their business.

I'm not worried about India; incompetence as their core quality, they can do nothing against China. They can build all that, make a mistake one day like in Galwan, then it's all gone and their media has to go into overdrive explaining how 25 soldiers who jumped off cliffs seeing incoming Chinese troops actually fought valiantly killing thousands of enemies Thermopolis style before being betrayed by a disguised Pakistani who told the Chinese of a goat pass allowing them to flank the Indians LOL Seriously; India doesn't deserve Chinese eyes. We need to watch competent foes; when India gets out of line and touches us, we step on them. Before then, let them squirm.

China thinks long term, it has plans for world peace and security, thus they plan for that success.
When India and China become friends, this infrastructure will be mainly used for logistics between China, India, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
You may not think India will become friends with China, and that is fine, however that is not the outcome China is planning for.

No, if YOU only come to understand that competence is the most important multiplier and you can't do anything without it, you'd see why no matter how you chess it out in your head, India's not a threat. They say this crap all the time, but I will only believe it when they get rid of Ursula, Harbeck, Baerbock and the rest of those obvious US agents band have them jailed for extreme treason. If they don’t do it, then I am convinced that the EU simply likes taking it in the ass.
Heck, alternatively if they somehow manage to pull a WW2 and basically being down the EU, that is a decent alternative if they cannot do this in a civil manner because the world is sick of there colonial ways that they hide with all of there democracy crap.

What they're both in denial about is that China and Russia is just 2 heads of the same animal.
If they devote resources to counter Russia, China will run around and keep encircling them on the global stage uncontested.
Meanwhile directly resisting China is difficult and an unchecked Russia will be able to mess with EU, America's last friends.
America simply doesn't have the resources it needs to spend. It's going against the largest economy in the world backed by the largest resource ownership in the world, while US economy has been stagnant and receding for years.
Their last chance was flipping Russia in the early 2000s. But this was made near impossible by the inclusion of baltics into NATO, and now, Russia has either been forced or decided by its own hand to cleanly cut ties with the west.
After being delayed by the covid19 pandemic, China is starting to wake up. It is reaching out to flip the middle east and to breakup EU over the long term.
But China has not even reached close to its potential in creating an anti American atmosphere.
