I usually refrain from commenting on real-time battlefield situations in the Ukraine war, but check this out:

Apparently, that wartime chef (Chef Zhenya) has never heard of something called Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE). MREs, despite being well known to have sh1tty tastes, can actually last for years instead of just one week.

Does he really believe that he could cook mom's dishes and have them served to the troops at the frontline when the opposing forces are actively shooting at them?

Besides, I don't think frontline troops would truly care about whether their meal are tasty or not, when all they are concerned about is to finish their meal, get re-energized before going back into the fight.

Here's more:

Is he suggesting the troops to carry a microwave and a generator machine to the frontline to reheat the food? What the hell?
The way things are going, think of it more as a 'last meal'

Over 60 people have been killed in an earthquake that rattled Indonesia's main island Java on Monday with officials warning that the death toll could rise.
Indonesia's National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure(BNPB) confirmed 62 deaths from the quake, whose epicenter was the town of Cianjur, about 75 km southeast of the capital, Jakarta.
The BNPB also said up to 700 people had been injured in the quake.
The quake has also caused heavy damage to hundreds of houses, buildings and infrastructure facilities.
The BNPB said that more than 300 homes were damaged or destroyed, and as many as 5,389 displaced residents were scattered at several points.
The quake struck at 13:21 Jakarta time (0621 GMT) with the epicenter located at 10 km southwest of Cianjur in West Java province, and with a depth of 10 km, the meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
The tremors were also strong in the national capital Jakarta.

Kazakhstan's incumbent president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev secured a second term in Sunday's snap election, winning 81.31 percent of the vote, the central Asian nation's Central Election Commission said on Monday, citing preliminary data.
He had been widely expected to extend his rule over the oil-rich nation by seven more years with a strong mandate to continue his increasingly independent foreign policy.
"We can say that the people have expressed convincing confidence in me as president and all of you," Tokayev, 69, had told his staff earlier, referring to exit polls that favored him.
The campaign would "go down in history," the former diplomat added.
Voter turnout was 69.44 percent, with five other candidates scoring in the low single digits, data showed. Voters' second most popular choice was "against everyone," which got 5.8 percent of ballots.
Prompted by the exit polls, several fellow central Asian leaders congratulated Tokayev on Monday before the preliminary results.
Tokayev won his first election in 2019 with the backing of predecessor Nursultan Nazarbayev, but the two fell out this year amid violent unrest in the nation of 20 million, and Sunday's vote consolidated his power as an independent leader.
