Japan unveils massive spending package

The government wants to tackle inflation and a weak yen

The Japanese government has announced an economic package worth around 39 trillion yen (nearly $270 billion) to support the economy amid rising inflation and a weakening national currency, broadcaster NHK reported on Friday.

The package includes local and central government spending, and is “aimed at overcoming rising prices and reviving the economy… to protect people’s livelihoods and businesses,” Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters in Tokyo.

50 billion reasons why Kazakhstan has turned away from Russia. Seems like a good reward
Russia trade with most of CIS increased. but regardless of this trade importance. once Iran is neutralized than Arabs will look for other non-Arabs. Russia has demonstrated this capability by intervening in Kazakhstan with 75 IL-76 airlifters. now they have appointment commander from Dagestan to the north side of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan will face muslim force both from North and South. that will increasingly crimp its options.
Its Arab interests that Iran is engaged in ukraine.

Wow. I'm reading comments by Americans to this Halloween disaster in South Korea... Which one is more pathetic? The Americans in taking pleasure at their own ally's misery or how much the South Koreans spend so much energy trying to get acceptance from Americans by trying to be like Americans.
The tragedy also happened in Seoul's "foreigner district" Itaewon outside the US base. Odd how bad things always happen outside US oversea bases.

Latest death toll is now 120. More is expected.

Very crowded alley.

Any news of people dying from a crush and stampede in a festival is tragic news. That death toll is still climbing.

Because this tragedy is happening in South Korea, CNN is reporting it as it is. Minimal politics.

But I still remembered how CNN reported tragedies that happened in China. They always try to spin them as the fault of the Chinese government.

But the most notorious of all was the way the Western MSM reported the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan. It was just so grotesque, it deserved its own thread.

What a boss. This is the diplomatic equivalent of putting your hand on the other guy's shoulder and saying "do you feel in charge?"

Actually, he’s probably referring to the fact that these people apparently don’t have many useful skills except as cheap labour in cracker factories and dishwashers in Chinese restaurants. Inevitability they will be a drain on the British social system once they go on welfare…

The best are the comments like “boycott all goods made in China!”

After Brexit, and this idea of boycott, the only things you would be able to buy in Britain would be those biscuits and Bentleys.

Both are equally pathetic. The South Koreans who were trying to become America's favourite Asians. And the Americans who laugh and treat them as lesser-humans.

Before the South Koreans, many Japanese tried to get closer to the Americans. Yet too many Americans never respected the Japanese for that. They made many films portraying the Japanese as villians, or pathetic victims needing American white saviors. Japanese people in the US still get treated as yellow peril. Japanese people near US bases still get abused by US soldiers with no serious repercussions.

Except for Israel, America doesn't have any true allies. They are actually subjects of the American Empire to be played with. An ally should be trustworthy, and treated as equals. But no, the US must wiretap the phone of a German Chancellor, dismantle Alstom of France, and force Japan to sign the Plaza Accord. Yet there are still many South Koreans, and Hanjians who would still rather prostitute themselves to the American Empire than to live with dignity. It is a truly pathetic indeed.
