20 years ago there was a similar outrage about two gays kissing on tv for the first time, now that's considered pretty normal. Makes you wonder what will be on tv in 20 more years to offend people.

Livecast mandatory sex change operations to meet government quotas.
In the 1990s, there were rumours of a “gay mafia” in the entertainment industries of America ie homosexual and closeted film producers, directors and actors and singers who would only promote their fellow homosexuals and when you see such big names like Stephen fry and Elton John, it’s not surprising.
sad to say but the conservatives did have a point about that slippery slope because now we have LGBTQ as a force of American imperialism an expression of the sexually repressed and violent religious nature of Anglo American society

“The Hindu right will say: ‘Look, an Indian-origin man took over as PM on Diwali and so it means the Hindu gods have blessed him,’” Seth said. “And the extreme Hindu right will say: ‘It means India has arrived globally and it is thanks to Modi raising India’s standing in the world that we have ‘reverse colonialism’, as in the formerly ruled now ruling the former ruler, Britain.
My prediction was correct: Indians now declaring they have achieved reverse colonialism.

By next Deepavali, we Indian patriots will have much to celebrate. We will have colonized our former colonizer, Great Britain. Jai Hind.

It's frustrating. When I found this news, I found it had been reprinted.

I think it will lead the United States to sign a new sanction order. For example, restrict the use of Oracle database in China.
Americans no longer care about any evidence, they can always make up excuses for sanctions.

Oh no! Chinese companies no longer have to pay Oracle to maintain their databases. Guess Chinese money will just go to domestic database companies, how terrible

Alibaba used to be a big client of Oracle, but got frustrated with their inflexible, high pricing policy and also because Oracle's hw scaling started to hit limit for events like 11/11. Alibaba ended up being a competitor after developing their in house oceanbase.
