In general, I would classify diplomatic sovereignity and independence of countries into 3 categories.
In fact, I should say that USA, China and Russia are the only 3 countries in the world right now that have totally independent and sovereign diplomacy on the world stage. No other countries are at the same level of absolute diplomatic sovereignity as the trio.
The level underneath the USA-China-Russia WRT the following:
Absolutely on-point.
The next level below the trio would be countries that have at least significant amount of diplomatic sovereignty and independence. That means while they do have certain levels of autonomy (or resistance) to some foreign influences and forces on the diplomatic world stage, they are still bounded by other foreign influences and forces. These countries include Turkey, India and Indonesia.
And then, there are the many countries that can only follow the will and orders of their superior "masters" to the latter. I think I don't need to explain further, and you guys would have already know which countries belong to this category.
