Just did a search on baidu, there were domestic news about flight cancellations.
As of 8:15 a.m. Sept 22nd, Beijing capital airport flight cancel rate was 61%, Beijing Daxing airport cancel rate was 65%, Shanghai Pudong airport cancel rate was 51%, Shanghai Hongqiao airport cancel rate was 32%.
The source for this news is which is the official media account of city of Dalian so it's not fake news.
However, flight cancellations could be the result of numerous reasons. The article suggested covid as the reason. Granted it's unusual, but we currently don't have enough info to entertain any serious talks of a potential coup.
Apparently there is a 1km tall skeleton walking in Chongqing tooWhat is happening in mainland China?
Take it easy on him, he might still be grieving the death of Abe after it was celebrated the world over with memesAh epoch times.
I don't begrudge people for necessarily being ignorant, but I think you must surely know enough from your years spent here to know who they are and the quality of "news" they produce.
You have an opportunity to either:
- acknowledge that you didn't know who they are and that you incorrectly perceive them as an outlet of legitimate news, or
- acknowledge that you know who they are, but wanted to post it here to get a rise out of people
Be aware, in the last few months there has been revision to the rules where posting of actively poor quality news and content is subject to moderation, and we expect members to actively justify and defend their links (whether it's to tweets, articles or otherwise) if it doesn't pass the common sense test.
Lame attempt at trolling. What is happening in mainland China?
If Xi doesn't show up in public (or on CCTV news) for a long time, we can maybe start speculate about a potential coup. What info is enough to entertain something as ridiculous as a potential coup?
Also, this is the top headline on Baidu right now. Coup going splendidly well.

Seriously, a coup is more likely to happen in the USA then in China. I mean it happened last yet….. sooner or later it will happen againNo lol.
China's collapsing for the 30th time this month. Can anybody corroborate this? If this is true then I'm sure that people living in Beijing has plenty of photos or videos they can share, unless they have all been censored.
Can confirm, Xi has been couped. If Xi doesn't show up in public (or on CCTV news) for a long time, we can maybe start speculate about a potential coup.
