Führer Scholz dreamed.

And hypocritically, Scholz calls for "more cooperation and partnership" while NATO imposes these perverse sanctions that harm the entire world.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told the UN General Assembly that his country deserves the status of a permanent UN Security Council member.

"Germany is ready to assume huge responsibility, first as one of the nine non-permanent members in 2027-2028, and as a permanent member in the future," Scholz said. "I ask you to support our candidacy, the candidacy of a country that respects the principles of the United Nations, which puts forward proposals and seeks cooperation."

At the same time, the German leader called for a reform of the UN Security Council.

"We should adapt our rules and institutions to realities of the 21st century," Scholz continued. "Too often they reflect the world as it used to be 30, 50 or 70 years ago. This applies to the Security Council too."

In the chancellor’s opinion, "promising, dynamically developing countries and regions of Asia, Africa and South America should have a greater political influence on the global arena."

"This is in our interest, too, because it shapes common responsibility," he said.

"Nationalism and isolation fail to provide solutions to present-day challenges. More cooperation, more partnership, more involvement - this is the only reasonable answer," Scholz added.

Holy shit 300k more troops in Ukraine. That's some Great Patriotic War stuff.
This will be in phases.
early summer they mention three shifts in production and creation of mini-drones. it takes a while after actual combat experience to realize what is truly needed.

- Rostec in May announced plans to create mini-drones for the military. Isn't it too late?

- It's never too late to develop, you can take into account someone else's experience and do something better.

- The Russian Federation can start massively purchasing drones abroad?

- In conditions when a special operation is underway and it is necessary to meet the needs of the troops in the number of some samples, it is necessary to evaluate the entire possible market, and sometimes take non-standard decisions. You can not only buy the same drones in China, but also look in other countries that remain our partners. Such consultations have been and continue to be. So far, no one has encountered the operation of these samples, they have not been evaluated in detail, but there are offers on the market.

Putin announces partial mobilization. Shoigu claimed that Russia lost only 6k soldiers but they plan to recruit around 300k during the mobilization, so the deaths number does not sound plausible.
What does having a low number of killed have to do with not having enough bodies to hold the gains Russia painstakingly accumalated in Ukraine? Russia owns as much Ukrainian territory as my home country Bulgaria, for example. Having more manpower will open up more options for the Russians.

If i'm not mistaken its only the Russian army casualties and not Donbas, Wagner Mercs etc casualties.
The mobilization is only for the army too, I doubt they are going to reinforce mercs with reserves.

So Russia invaded Ukraine with not enough manpower? Remember, they planned to take Kiev with these forces back in March. It either means that Russian strategists were even more incompetent than previously shown or the casualties were higher than estimated.

Shoigu: "Partial mobilization is primarily needed to control the liberated territories and the 1,000 km line of contact what is there, along this line - it must be consolidated, these territories must be controlled. And, of course, first of all, this work is being done for this - I mean, partial mobilization".

That's just what Shoigu says, he is not dumb to relay all the plans. For example, just yesterday people from Gosduma (parliament) who made the changes into law regarding mobilization, war-time laws, etc. were saying that there will be no mobilization.
