What's the point? If Germany's gas consumption is of any indication, it's already in recession or is about to enter a recession.

“We want to demonstrate that we can be in Asia within a day,” Chief of the German Air Force Lieutenant General Ingo Gerhartz said to Defense News.
“The Indo-Pacific is of great importance to Germany. We share the same values with many partners in this region,” LTGEN Gerhartz continued.
“Defending those values in case of a war emergency and being able to support our partners is something that needs to be practised.”

I see that Germany has decided to support US aggression not only in Europe but also in Asia. A regrettable choice but I guess they have decided to remain loyal vassals to the neocon/neolib US regardless of the negative consequences for them and the rest of the world. It seems that the US controlled "West" has an innate ability not to learn from history. Instead of becoming a collection of responsible and sovereign nations with constructive ambitions, they have decided to do the opposite.

They can never see themselves as subordinates to a group of people they view as less than themselves that's plain and simple. It's high time that all people in East Asia accept that reality and stop pretending that it's not the case.

Asked whether the war planes will pass the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, two flashpoints of tensions with China in the region, Mr Gerhartz said the aircraft would use civilian air traffic routes and that no passage of the Taiwan Strait was planned.

"We will fly at an altitude of more than 10 km and barely touch the South China Sea, and we will move on international routes."

Reminds me of that time last year when US wanted their allies to all show up in the pacific to show solidarity in front of China,
