Considering that Shinzo Abe had many chances to improve relations with China but always chose the USA, well can’t say their will be much tears to be shed, at least on my part and that of the majority of the Chinese people for that matter

Russia has described the assassination attempt on former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe as a “monstrous crime” and an “act of terrorism.” Everyone responsible for it should be held accountable, Moscow said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said it was “shocked” by the attack on the Japanese statesman, “who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Russian-Japanese relationship in all spheres.”

Off course is Russia is doing this just for diplomatic norms. But I would also think that Russia is trolling, considering how Western nations react with glee to the murder of Russian figures and people.

Before anyone say we should respect the dead and not be too jovial about it:

Some of the Japanese themselves are celebrating, there are lots of people there who consider Abe having blood of all the COVID-19 dead on his hands.
