It's very deliberate twisting of the knife re Hong Kong, only difference is UK is never getting Hong Kong back yet it's entirely possible that the sun will set on the British Empire with the empire itself disintegrating.

Didn't even get to hear the rejection directly from Xi lol

Moat likely after the 45th call from Biden, Xi just found a random guy from Beijing and sent him to the US embassy to tell Biden to stop asking to have a phone call with him all the time like a teenage girl

頭條開講 said that Macron and Xi scheduled a phone call before Biden. The smoke bomb was talking about Ukraine. Then China bought 200 plus planes from Airbus. So that Biden would only call Xi to raise the white flag.

Yes I reckon that deal had something to do with it. I'm sure some colourful words were exchanged over the weekend between Boeing and Whitehouse.
