I am merely pointing out that stance of Turkey and Germany has its own reasons not related what they saying in public and those policies are influenced by concept of Eurabia. you have to go back Pre WW1 time to understand it. it is not just related to Middleast. Germany overspent on Afghanistan compared to all US allies. it is to lessen burden on Turkey in that theatre.
I am sure Turkish contingent in libya will appreciate the help.

how many countries Turkey can send $10b of its exports?.

which contradict your point of US/ Europe decreasing reliance on Middleast. they would not have allowed so much investment and refining design to process Mideastern crude.

As i said there is alot of infrastructure and aviation. if i am reading statistics correctly. there are 1400 Airbus on order in Middleast. and than add choppers to it. The whole system of overhauling, simulators, pilot training, Airport radars/equipment. most of it will be based on European tech for decades to com.

It is good Chinese can export drone but it is not very expensive investment. Turkey also peddling drones.
This is what I think will happen over the next few months. Russia will eventually stop supplying oil or gas to Europe. Either because the currency they will receive is worthless (what's the point in having Euros if you are sanctioned), or because relations between Russia and Europe deteriorate to the point of no return.

The moment that happens, OPEC will announce an embargo until Israel is held to account. Europe will have to choose between Russia and Israel. They don't even need to fully cut it off like in 1973, just throttle it to earn enough to get by for a few years. Europe is the biggest consumer of oil and gas but will find themselves cut out of 90% of the worlds supply, I think you can imagine what will happen.

All this talk about Eurabia, or bringing up what happened pre-ww1 when Turkey wasn't a modern state is meaningless. Business between the middle east and Europe is purely transactional. There isn't a secret conspiracy to create a Eurabia whatever that even means.

Lay off the vodka comrade....

there plenty of clues right here in recent posts if you are smart enough to figure out. This will end up in way where Germany, Russia and Turkey obtain maximum benefit.
Sounds contradictory, as Germany's gains will be Russia's loss, and vice versa. You think Germany will cosy up to Russia, under the eyes of all of EU and US? Tell me how exactly will German and Russia achieve this win-win?

Wonder where the red line lies for china (I should specify that I do not wish for war, I am just genuinely curious regarding the geopolitical calculus at play here)
All those stupid bills done to anger China, these senators better get read, China is taking names and when the coming civil war and economic collapse comes to the USA and does real damage instead of being hidden by the media like always, China will come to collect. I hope China is prepared to figuratively skin these two faced bastards. I hate that they always use the Taiwan card, how about China uses the red indian card, see how they like them muffins

So this is the group of US economic "wizards" that came up with the economic MAD war with Russia that caused high inflation, energy and other shortages, crashed stock markets into correction territory, and imminent recession in the US and Europe; and at the same time plunging most developing and underdeveloped economies into depression and poverty.
Most likely the same people who came up with the genius idea of waging a trade war with China.

Why Germany is discussing whether people should ‘freeze by law’

German ministers and government officials are at loggerheads over whether the minimum temperature in homes should be reduced for the winter to ward off a gas supply crisis.

Speaking to the Rheinische Post on Thursday, Klaus Müller, the president of the Federal Network Agency, said households should be put under more pressure to save energy ahead of winter.

“In tenancy law, there are specifications according to which the landlord must set the heating system so that a minimum temperature of between 20C and 22C is achieved,” he said. “The state could temporarily lower the specifications for landlords. We are discussing this with politicians.”

The changes to the tenancy law would mean landlords would be able to keep accommodation at a lower temperature throughout winter without any legal repercussions such as requests for rent reductions.

Currently, landlords are legally required to keep rented accommodation at a minimum temperature of 20-22C degrees during the day, and no less than 18C at night.

If they fall below these targets in winter and only heat the apartment at 18C, for example, tenants are generally eligible for a significant reduction in the rent, which starts at around 20 percent.

Müller said renters would already be facing a “nasty shock” when they receive the latest energy bills from their providers and see the unpaid balance.

“Gas prices for private households have already multiplied compared with the pre-war period,” said Müller. “Tenants may be in for a nasty shock when high additional payments become due. These can quickly amount to more than a thousand euros, so shock waves will go through the country.

“Banks will ramp up their business with instalment loans, struggling companies will be threatened with insolvency.”

The news comes just days after the launch of the Economic Ministry’s “Deutschland macht’s effizient” (Germany does it efficiently) campaign, which saw billboards and posters plastered across the country to remind people of ways to reduce their energy usage.

When the campaign was announced, environmentalists welcomed the sentiment behind it, but argued that energy caps should be put in place to enshrine low energy usage in law.

However, Network Agency president Müller said businesses should be incentivised to limit their energy usage with financial bonuses rather than legal mechanisms.

“We want to establish mechanisms to reward companies that voluntarily agree to gas quotas with a bonus,” he said. “It is always better when adjustments are made monetarily rather than through authoritarian guidelines.”

#FreezeForUkraine is becoming reality now. Better get used to wearing sweaters (maybe 2x or 3x thick) as per the German energy minister a few months ago.

Next up, the German people should be question how many of these stupid ministers they should send to Siberia to please Russia enough to continue the gas trade because these minister are basically asking the people to die for a bloody comedian who happens to be the leader of a nation that is rapidly becoming a basket case because he wished to continue being the bitch of the UK and USA, a pair of nations that have spawned some of the most evil bastards in history, who also should have their idiot leaders sent to Siberia because really, world peace has a much higher chance of happening when they are out on ice then in a warmed heated room which they seriously don’t deserve

According to pmc, this will make Germanic Übermensch even stronger! Because you see, a frozen body is much harder than a soft, warm body. In the meantime, Germany will still continue to pay Russia for the gas it doesn't receive, thus making Russian economy even more stronk. And then Germany will transfer this easy trick to a rock hard body to the Turks, which will also be accomodating now rich Russian tourists. Triple win! How will everyone else even survive against this?

Russia cutting gas supplies to Europe has long been one of the EU’s greatest fears. This week it became a reality
What is clear is that Russia’s decision, which has reduced capacity on NS1 by 60 per cent and led to lower flows to countries from France to Slovakia, has moved the energy crisis into a new and dangerous phase.
The current situation is one of the worst outcomes we had contemplated,” Edward Morse, analyst at Citi, said this week as he warned that prices would likely need to soar this winter to constrain demand if Russian flows do not return.
Laurent Ruseckas, a gas market specialist at IHS Markit, said that while Moscow could soon restore supplies, there was a risk it would double down on its position and make even bigger cuts this winter.
“There’s a growing likelihood that this is a prelude to the main show,” he said, adding that he feared Moscow saw the potential to weaken sanctions by ramping up the pressure on Europe’s economy.
“If there’s an explicit ‘we’ll cut off the gas if you don’t lift sanctions’ then I’m confident they’ll get a very short answer,” he said. “But I’m worried there’s enough support for this approach in Moscow to make it a very real possibility.”
If Russian gas flows do not recover soon then Europe would need to step up the hunt for more seaborne cargoes of liquefied natural gas to replace it. But the fragility of this option has been exposed in the past fortnight.
A fire at an LNG terminal in Texas that is responsible for almost 20 per cent of all US liquefaction capacity has closed the plant for at least three months and it is unlikely to be fully back until the end of the year
Russia has said ‘it’s our gas, it’s our game’ but we need to say ‘it’s our money, it’s our game’.”
Still delusional from what I see. Your money is worth jacksht if it cannot allow you to buy energy supplies lol. Good luck with throwing your paper money to power your industries and heat residential houses.

This is really Putin's greatest gift to China. Lets hope he fully cuts gas exports to the EU

Unfortunate beatings against women in Philadelphia, a city of brotherly love in Pennsylvania. I am posting this to show that these type of unfortunate events happen more often in America. But to also show compare and contrast the usual hand wringing and screeching we Asians/Chinese hear from the western critics who loves to take any negative that happens in China as representative of the whole Chinese people and country, yet similar incidents that happen in their neck of the woods, their idiots want to be judged individually and not an indictment of their culture, country, people, and government.
