my original point was about Germanic transition to Middleast/ Africa. it will raise the prices and make Asian currencies weaker over time.
Japan happened to have the weakest link as it consume more relative to what it produce for Europe. historically this area was managed by Ottomans/French/British. now German are directly engaging it. all the way to refugee camps in this hot weather. there will be plenty of willing partners for them unlike Japanese.

Only problem there is if Africa is willing to exploited by Europe a second time since none of these European countries had any remorse for the hell they put Africa through. Africa stands to gain a great deal while the EU is going to lose a lot in the future given how they handled the whole Ukraine situation and Africa can see this. Hence Africa shouldn’t have to pick up the tab in regards to keeping Germany afloat just because Scholz chose to piss off Russia on the behalf of the USA despite how damaging it is going to be. If Germany wants Africas help, they better start offering more then just empty bullcrap or else Africa will continue to find better partners away from the collapsing west. The problem is that the west already has a horrible history with Africa due to the age of colonialism and now Germany and by extension Europe wants free resources still, well that won’t happen unless these people shows some genuine humility…. for a start

Wait. How is he in Venezuela and if so then why hasn’t Maduro arrested him yet?
Guaido is a running gag in Venezuela at this point. I would have arrested him when he tried to stir up a military coup and a violent insurrection in Caracas several years ago. But the Venezuelan government seems to think otherwise.

Where is the other 99.89% of non-existent gas is the EU going to find when they fully transition to the ME? 56,512 million tonnes of gas is still missing after subtracting 67 million tonnes from the Qatar expansion.
You need to take into account not just the Qatari expansion but also the US one. Even then both put together won't be enough to cover the shortfall if they plan to replace all the Russian gas. This can happen, perhaps in 7 years, but only if the Russians divert a large fraction of their own gas to Asia and at least a substantial part of the LNG shipments that currently would go to Asia would have to go to Europe. It will also require a huge investment and result in a more expensive and more polluting product. The gas will have to be liquefied, it will have to be transported by ship, and it will have to travel a longer distance.

Europe made a huge own goal by sponsoring the overthrow of Gaddafi and the current disaster situation in Libya. No one in Africa trusts them. Gaddafi used to be a major donor to African nations and was widely respected in the continent.

So who is lying...
After Austin’s meeting with Wei, China’s defense ministry blame the United States and “Taiwan independence forces” for upsetting the status quo. Beijing also claimed that Wei had told Austin China would not hesitate to start a war over the issue if necessary and “smash to smithereens any Taiwan independence plot.” U.S. sources told me that Wei never said those things inside his meeting with Austin.

Technically speaking, nobody is lying.

The Americans just playing word games for propaganda sake.

The Chinese general made those comments in a speech he delivered in front of a live audience, IIRC. There is no point to repeat it to some American later in a meeting.

That is how the American position of strength works. China cannot tell them that in a private meeting. Publicly they can. Privately they cannot. America rules!

:D

Basically, by answering this question Zelensky is accepting the question's premises, that is Taiwan is a "country". Since you referred the questioner as a troll, you should know that you fall in to the trap if you continue answering the question without first refute the premises.

Either Zelensky is stupid to fall into the trap, or he sincerely regarded Taiwan as a "country".

Remember, whenever someone asks question comparing Taiwan with Ukraine, China's official position always begin with "These two are totally incomparable" before going any further.

Comparing China's position with Zelensky, Zelensky is NOT as "balanced" as China is. China's "balance" is to avoid answering such trapping question, Zelensky does not.

I won't read too much into what Zelensky said in the interview, but he is not as "neutral" as you are trying to interpret.
This whole episode proves that Elensky is either stupid as suggested or he, along with his followers, are easily manipulated tool serving the puppet master.
