Fed to hike by 75 basis points next week, Barclays says

Lets see if the Feds have the gull to do their job for once instead of fucking the average joe constantly.

Most likely scenario. They put a bandage (50 points or less) to cover up a wound from an 18th century cannon ball to the chest.

Oh ya. In other news, gas is officially $5 in the US.

It's a hard job, I can see their pain. If they let inflation stay this high then you're going to have social activists on the street next time a black person gets killed or something and treat themselves to some five finger discount. On the other hand if you pile on the rate hike and bring down inflation you might also crash the stock market, in which case the freedom fighters will be on the street with their guns.

Lol even tiny Azerbaijan summoned the Indian ambassador.

Jai Hind. Shuperpower 2020.
Azerbaijan is not tiny country once you look at history and connections. I think Modi carried away by Indo Pacific and not understanding what that means from European perspective.
The point is India is creation of European war but most of its Trade is with Middleast/US it is like trading among diaspora and now Indian has started increasing trade with Asia. what is India doing for Europe?.
Arabs are doing there part by increasing energy prices to Asia and presumably downgrading Yen. why would Europa tolerate India which drain resources without corresponding benefit?
when you look at Europe actions. it is majority targeting tech that are dominated by Asia.

We show our support with investments, not empty talk.
Shows our great confidence in the strength and prosperity of China.
I had personally witnessed how Singapore put in great effort to promote trade and diplomatic relations between ( then communist China hostile) Asean and China.

Since 2013, China has been Singapore’s largest trading partner, and Singapore has been China’s largest foreign investor. "

Singapore, the Virgin Islands, South Korea, the Cayman Islands, Japan, Germany and the United States count among major investors. "
.

US imported a lot of Chinese goods too. But it does not give US the right to threaten China's security and interfere with China's internal policy.

Same applies to Singapore. Singapore has the right to ensure her won security. But in doing so, it does not confer to Singapore the right to compromise another country's own security, especially when that country does nothing to threaten Singapore.

Besides, China has been the number one market for Singapore export. So it is a mutually beneficial economic relationship and not a one sided affair in which Singapore investment is out of the goodness of Singapore's heart.

P.S. We are discussing Singapore's government policy and not about Singaporeans, who, from my understanding, have much more limited say on foreign policies than internal ones.
